Boogie to Return

Yesterday, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reported that Boogie Ellis will return to USC for his final season of eligibility.

After participating in USC’s Senior Day ceremonies, most assumed that Ellis would move on to pursue a professional career. However, his return is a major boost for the Trojans, who now return five of their top seven scorers from last season. In addition, USC brings n a strong recruiting class headlined by Isaiah Collier, the number one player in the country.

Flowers Picks Oregon

Yesterday was commitment day for four-star safety Aaron Flowers. Unfortunately for USC, Flowers picked Oregon over the Trojans.

According to On3 Consensus, Flowers is the number 115 overall player and the number 10 safety in the class of 2024. He hails from Forney, Texas.

Bronny Rumors

Over the past 48 hours, there have been rumors surrounding USC and the recruitment of Bronny James. According to On3’s projections, the Trojans are now the leader to land the son of NBA superstar LeBron James. ESPN’s Matt Schick even added that Bronny could potentially commit to USC soon.

On3 Consensus ranks Bronny as the number 27 player in the class of 2023.
