Yet another transfer commits

It was a busy day in USC news on Thursday. The day was headlined by USC landing yet another transfer commit—former JUCO offensive lineman Cooper Lovelace. A native of Prairie Valley, Kansas, Lovelace spent the past three seasons at Butler Community College in his home state. He has two years of eligibility remaining, and will look to provide reinforcements to a USC offensive line in need of depth.

Trojan rookies sign first NFL contracts

While the 2022 Trojans were adding to their roster, two former USC players officially signed their rookie NFL contracts on Thursday. First round pick Drake London officially signed his contract with the Atlanta Falcons, who took the wide receiver eight overall. Meanwhile, running back Keaontay Ingram, who went in the sixth round to the Arizona Cardinals, also inked his deal.

Following Thursday’s signings, edge rusher Drake Jackson, who was drafted in the second round by the San Francisco 49ers is now the only USC draft pick yet to sign his rookie contract.

Student-athletes graduate!
