LSU transfer RB Logan Diggs commits to Ole Miss

LSU transfer running back Logan Diggs has officially found his new home in the transfer portal. He committed to the Ole Miss Rebels. Diggs announced the move on his Twitter page on Wednesday evening.

Diggs, a junior this past season in Baton Rouge, just completed his first season with the Tigers. That came after he spent the previous two seasons at Notre Dame, including his first under Brian Kelly in 2021.

Diggs was the team’s second-leading rusher this season behind only Jayden Daniels, making him the lead running back for the Tigers this year. In total, he finished with 653 yards and seven touchdowns on 119 carries. He also caught eight passes for an 82 additional yards.

For his career, that gives him 1,703 rushing yards and 14 scores on the ground on 336 carries as well as 24 catches for 349 yards and three more touchdowns.

Diggs played high school football at Archbishop Rummel (LA) where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 477 overall recruit in the 2021 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He finished as the No. 33 RB in the class and the No. 15 player out of the state of Louisiana.
