The only redeeming factor in that game was bragging rights against my Georgetown family. I know a win is a win, but please find some shooters next year and an experienced assistant coach that understands how to have a real offense.
Offensive efficiency down to #186 on KenPom. Only one team in the entire top 100 has a worse offense (Northern Iowa). Defense up to #9 overall, the best of any team nationally that's not ranked in the top 12 overall. Wild, extreme stuff.

An ugly win is better than a pretty loss, but man there are no positives to take from this game.
Najai Hines was a positive. Good to see him play 20+ minutes for just the 2nd time in the BE. He impacted the game in every way and without his contribution we lose by 10.
It’s not that easy when teams are packing it in and daring you to shoot.

Georgetown put up 89 in their last game and scored 75 at uconn almost pulling off the upset.

It’s hard to believe. Have never seen anything like it.
The performance in the BE season is mind boggling. Putting aside the 0/18 for a second, the structure of the offense is terrible. That was absurd last night.
What makes the game even crazier is the ball stopping and hanging on the rim. All my years watching and playing I never saw that happen before. The look on the players faces priceless. That could have cost us the game, and with our luck surprised it didn’t.
We had another one of these against Connecticut. We were 0-for before Williams drained that 3 to cut it to 65-64 with :45 left.
We finished 1/16. We had that 2/17 against Villanova. Goodness.
While we knew this team wasn’t stocked with great shooters, .274 as a team in 17 BE games? .303 on the season? Wozers. Maybe we get a correction to the positive.

So 3-51 combined against UCONN, Gtown and Nova. I really think you could have the team take 51 half court shots and they might make more. It is almost hard to fathom.
