Embid and KD were exchanging words at the games end almost getting into it. It was fun to watch as Embid was calling him out and taunting him. In this era of meaningless sports it was fun to watch players with some passion for winning.
Yes it was, Embiid is always fun to watch. Last time they met with Nets undermanned they beat the sixers and KD pointed the sixers to off the court... last night JE returned the jesture.

It wasn’t a big deal at all. Just friendly barking.

I can’t stress how much I want Tobias gone and off this team

Toby is a MAJOR problem right now, he can't seem to do anything right and missing a bunch of easy shots is not helping. We all know he is way overpaid with the contract they gave him, but he was WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better than this the past 2 years and that is all that is needed. With Joel and Maxey he can be the third wheel until another star arrives in the next month(HOPEFULLY!)

76ers are playing good basketball and are now 9-1 in their last 10 games. Embiid is playing like an MVP 32pts 12rebs 1blk 1stl, his defense can not be measured statistically and the 76ers held the Heat below 100 without Thybulle playing tonight. They played good team basketball and it was nice to see CB Jr get the minutes he got. If Harris would play consistently the way he played tonight he would be worth his contract. Next up is the Wizards and future 76er Bradley Beal lol

It’s been a while…haven’t had much to say about the Sixers. After tonight…Glen Rivers demands the Greg Popovich treatment?? I am more than done with him and his Uber condescending ways. When was the last time he took any blame for anything he’s done.
They were up 24 in the second half. TWENTY EFFING FOUR points!! Someone asks a question about coaching and this clown basically goes all Cartman on them??

My list of wants…1) Move Ben Simmons 2) get off Tobias’s contract 3) boot Glen Rivers to the curb (this clown is still living off a ring he won 14 years ago!). Hes one of if not THE worst playoff coach the last decade. He’s gotta be done after this year. His coaching decisions over the last 2 years are questionable at best. He’s reason #1 Ben Simmons hasn’t stepped foot on a basketball court this year after his comments after the hawks series.

Sixers: Losing a 24 point lead to a Clippers team missing all its good players has to be one of the most embarrassing things that will happen this year in the NBA! Not a chance anyone else pulls a stunt like that!

I imagine Ben realizes he made a big blunder opting to sit out, i.e. health Issue, for this season.

Maxey is so fun to watch. His trajectory could be spectacular. He will never be the defender Ben is but already brings more to the table offensively. In 5 years when he is Ben's age not so sure he won't have surpassed Ben. He is easier to play with as far as the team is constructed as well. I do listen to Stephen A when it comes to the Sixers and he has said that Morey has wanted to pull the trigger on multiple proposals but Josh Harris (surprise surprise he is DAF as usual nixed him). Morey never liked Ben and has always disliked people who can't pose a threat that handle the ball a lot. He also knows in spite of the fact that Ben can't even shoot free throws or on occasion even attempt a dunk he still has value. The Kings were offering shooting and value outside of it. DO NOT handcuff Morey. Harris an idiot though.

Embiid gets one prime. The league is down. Strike now.

Is this going to happen, Sixers fans? The latest I’ve heard is the team is engaged in multiple fronts to move out Harris and Simmons to clear the way for Harden.

There must be other pieces coming back beyond Harden, but this sounds complex to get done by tomorrow.

For all the deserved grief Stephen A Smith gets, I think he’s right about Brooklyn being the one place you don’t send Simmons. They have the shooting to offset his offensive liabilities. They’d be considerably better after that trade and would block the Sixers in the East.

who knows

If I’m Morey, I pass unless it’s Simmons for Harden plus salary make goods. No way I include Thybulle and I hang up the phone if Maxey comes up.

Harden is leaving Brooklyn. It’s just a matter of now or in the summer when the Sixers have more leverage.

Tough situation. You're paying Simmons a boatload of money and he's not playing for you. And Embiid is playing out of his head, but you wonder how long his window will last at his height/weight combo. Harden certainly has some talent, but if there isn't some type of agreement made before the trade, he can walk at the end of this season. So if you trade for him without an agreement, you may not be getting him for more than a few months. (And conversely, he's 32, so how many $$ and years would you commit to him if you could work out a pre-trade agreement?)

Thybulle is the Sixers' best defender, a skill that is important in the playoffs. I think it would be a mistake to include him in a trade unless you got some type of defensive specialist as part of the return package. Maxey is the Sixers point-guard of the future. From reports, lots of teams have asked about him, but reports also indicate that the Sixers have refused to engage in talks about him.

Agreed. In the big picture, I think that's the smarter play for the Sixers. Shorter term, you should go for a championship if you think you have the opportunity. Which one play does the ownership and Morey think is more important? I guess we'll know by this time tomorrow.

Maxey is even more important with Simmons leaving. They need a primary ball handler.

Morey is a sharp. I’ll trust his track record no matter what happens.

If you need to move Harris, Thybulle, and possibly Curry in order to get Harden, do they Sixers have enough to go for it this year? Agree about holding on to Maxey. Separately, I don't get the Kings-Pacers deal. More specifically, I don't understand the Kings side of it.
