2022 PSU WVB Thread

So Texas, Wisconsin, Stanford, and Louisville got the #1 seeds in the 4 brackets. Minnesota, Pitt, San Diego, and Nebraska got the #2 seeds in the same brackets. Ohio State, Florida, Kentucky, and Oregon got the #3 seeds in the same brackets. And Marquette, PSU, Creighton, and Baylor got the #4 sees in the same brackets.
PSU will face Yale in the opening round. They'll be favored. Win that, and they should face the #5 seed, UCF. Both of those matches will take place at PSU. After that, things get much harder. After the opening 2 rounds, PSU is likely to face Wisconsin in the Sweet 16. Wisky won the B1G, and is very, very good. Should PSU get past Wisky, they would likely face the winner of the #2 seed Pitt - #3 seed Florida match in the Elite 8 round, for the right to go to the Final Four.

Either way in Madison, I think this was a successful first year for Katie. She came in late under difficult circumstances and built a competitive team with a lot of transfers and a late start recruiting. Hopefully she can keep it going. Perhaps she can even steal a match from the Badgers on Thursday.

Supposedly on ESPNU. PSU Athletics tweeted out something yesterday that indicated it would be on BTN. I thought NCAAs were controlled, in terms of TV, so I'd be surprised if it were on BTN.
They are. ESPN owns the rights to every NCAA championship, except men's basketball. Doesn't mean that they can't syndicate a particular contest that they aren't interested to televise.

Apparently the Ladies game out aggressive (I think) with 8 kills and 11 errors vs 6 kills no errors score 12-18
Hitting is --.333 vs .429
Not a single Block but blocked by Wisky 7 times.
