Mesenbrink is such a joy to watch. He has the motor and creativity of Nolf and enjoys delivering some punishment on top like Zain. I can see bow and arrow being added to the style in the next couple years to deliver pins.
Just ran into Nick Lee at Champs. Super nice dude. A+ person. Would buy him a beer again.

I’m not sure he was recruited very hard to PSU. He went to Lehigh, got into some trouble and was dismissed from the team. He transferred to Illinois where I think Ed was an assistant at the time.

AB with a single off a throw-by for a quick TD, 3-0. Then he cuts him, 3-1. Brooks works an underhook, nearly has it but SA works the whizzer along the edge, but AB frees it and gets the TD, 6-1. AB working an arm bar. He keeps changing what he's doing with the other hand. AB working for a tilt, and a stall warning on SA. End. RT @ 1:51 for AB

Kerk with a very quick double for a TD, 3-0. They are on the edge, which makes the options limited. Kerk with a nice ride going, and RT goes over 1 min. Kerk keeps trying different things on top, but hasn't been close to a tilt. YS not doing much of anything, and he's hit with a stall warning. Now a stall warning on Kerk, so a stoppage with 55 sec left. Kerk flattens him, and then works a crossface for a bit. Stall call on YS makes it 4-0. End. RT @ 2:53 for Kerk

Keep in mind we don’t have Carter. In addition, he put’s up a lot of bonus.
Brooks doesn’t get an interview but the lone Iowa guy does. Gotta love the big 10 lol.
