Not gonna happen.Andrews needs to move the sticks and keep the clock moving. Play keep away if they can.

One holding call away'95, twice. Came close in '11 but no cigar.
From what i recall they plugged in hemphill as a freshman sometimes at FB. I would take that in Skylers playmaking ability with his legs over Crisp. But i can understand Walshs decision with allowing Crisp to be the starter for the rest of the year that season with Crisp having the experience and potentially being a better thrower at that point but sometimes you have to ride the hot hand who brings a spark for your team and I believe Skyler provided that spark.Skylar was starting FB in 13. If he would've played QB who would've been FB?
Crisp was a good passer and could run.
He didVeering a bit off course here, but my favorite all-time headline from the Cherokee Scout was "Tookie monster creates Knightmare" I don't remember how many yards he had in that game, but he definitely ran wild that night.
Tookie Reese laid the pain on defense too. He hurt people his senior season, good clean hits but he was a head hunter."Tookie monster creates Knightmare" I don't remember how many yards he had in that game, but he definitely ran wild that night.
Not gonna happen.
What has Andrews done the past few years?
They really need some receiving yards to slow down that defense.
Therein lies the problem Andrews may have.
Today's Asheville Citizens is showing both Andrews backs with 800 yds each..In 4 games..Is that correct?
What have they done Kidd? They don’t compete in anything? Football this year, but name something else in the past 10 years? And as far as rushing tandems go, I’m sure Robbinsville would have accumulated more yards with their two backs if they didn’t have 5 kids touching the all consistently. We will see about that run game they have tonight. To CatDad's point, based on ADMs I'm pretty sure Robbinsville is almost twice the size of school that Andrews is. So he is correct - pound for pound no program has done more with less than Andrews. Facts
Good lord.Your premise is because they haven't won a conference title or a state championship then they haven't done anything. They have competed and have not finished at the bottom of the conference on varsity in several years despite losing athletes every year to transfers. They have competed for 1st or 2nd & 3rd in JV the last four years. All of this while playing in the hands down toughest conference in the state - at both levels- with an enrollment of 200 or less (this year), year in year out against great programs that are almost double their size; every single one. They have technically been competitive in basketball every year. Show me a school that isn't a charter with an enrollment of less than 200 in the state that can say that. You can't. You know why? Because there isn't one. We don't whine, we don't complain, or boys just show up to play every week with everything they got, with the mindset they can compete. You may not see those things as an "accomplishment", which is asinine of you if so, but it still doesn't make your narrowly focused view relevant. You think Rville would be competing for state titles and be at the top of the conference every year with around 190 kids? Lol, if so you are delusional
Robbinsvilles starting backs only play 1 or 2 quartersWhat have they done Kidd? They don’t compete in anything? Football this year, but name something else in the past 10 years? I think rville had a kid transfer to Andrews this season?Question for everyone. How does Robbinsville manage to not lose kids to transfer like other schools in the conference? Does seem like everyone deals with this but them.
Tradition !!!! Programs with a winning tradition find a way to keep it goingQuestion for everyone. How does Robbinsville manage to not lose kids to transfer like other schools in the conference? Does seem like everyone deals with this but them.
Robbinsville is extremely isolated, they aren't close to anything or any other schools. Its also a mindset thing, people in Graham County never leave, its the same families and people generation after generation, so they are all deeply invested in the community. In places like Murphy and Hayesville nearly half the people are from Florida, not the same emotional bond to the community and schools.Question for everyone. Just about all false. Murphy has athletes that have rville roots. Rville has had alot of former playes leave...that have had children that have played elsewhere. Good story though.Robbinsville is extremely isolated, they aren't close to anything or any other schools. Name a Robbinsville starter that is not deeply rooted in Graham CountyJust about all false. Murphy has athletes that have rville roots. Rville has had alot of former playes leave...that have had children that have played elsewhere. Good story though.
He said NOBODY EVER LEAVES...and I disagree in a major degree...what part of what I said was wrong? I'll hang up and listen.I'll agree with mbdfan on this one
You can argue semantics if you want, it's a FACT that Robbinsville's retention rate of families with roots in the area is exponentially higher than a Murphy. It's a big factor in Robbinsville's success, I'd kill to have had the same rate at Murphy. He said NOBODY EVER LEAVES...and I disagree in a major degree...what part of what I said was wrong? Big difference in changing the narrative to rates...and saying nobody leaves. Rville has lost plenty. Nobody changed the narrative, you just dont seem to grasp the concept of hyperbole, did you miss that lesson in school?Big difference in changing the narrative to rates...and saying nobody leaves.

Not intrigued anymore.Very intrigued by this game.
Andrews has had some close halftime scores.
Andrews 14 Hayesville 7
Andrews 14 Cherokee 8
Andrews 6 Murphy 14
Andrews 20 Swain 8..
Robbinsville normally has their games won by halftime..let's see what happens
No weak spot at any part of the game. One of the better run defenses I have seen in recent years.
