If Andrews is to have any chance they need to score early and often..the deeper this ballgame goes ,the more fresh players Robbinsville will be bringing in play after play.
From what i recall they plugged in hemphill as a freshman sometimes at FB. I would take that in Skylers playmaking ability with his legs over Crisp. But i can understand Walshs decision with allowing Crisp to be the starter for the rest of the year that season with Crisp having the experience and potentially being a better thrower at that point but sometimes you have to ride the hot hand who brings a spark for your team and I believe Skyler provided that spark.
Tookie Reese laid the pain on defense too. He hurt people his senior season, good clean hits but he was a head hunter.
You might be in for a surprise. Best rushing tandem in the conference belongs to Andrews.
To CatDad's point, based on ADMs I'm pretty sure Robbinsville is almost twice the size of school that Andrews is. So he is correct - pound for pound no program has done more with less than Andrews. Facts
How's that a problem for Andrews?
Doesn't sound right, but it's probably not too far off. From what I've seen in AC-T stats I believe they are getting 150-200yds per game every week, each.
What have they done Kidd? They don’t compete in anything? Football this year, but name something else in the past 10 years? And as far as rushing tandems go, I’m sure Robbinsville would have accumulated more yards with their two backs if they didn’t have 5 kids touching the all consistently. We will see about that run game they have tonight.

I'll take any of Robbinsville's 190 kids you want to pick against Andrews 190 kids..We have championship football, softball, wrestling, volleyball. I like Andrews but you are making no sense. You have lost 70 football games the last 10 years.. My gosh you all started this saying Andrews was better pound for pound than Robbinsville..What about Murphy,Swain?? Tarboro,Mitchell? I'll stick with my pound for pound kids and you can stick with yours. Good luck tonight to an injury free hard fought game. Maybe they will give out a pound for pound trophy.

Question for everyone. How does Robbinsville manage to not lose kids to transfer like other schools in the conference? Does seem like everyone deals with this but them.
Robbinsville is extremely isolated, they aren't close to anything or any other schools. Its also a mindset thing, people in Graham County never leave, its the same families and people generation after generation, so they are all deeply invested in the community. In places like Murphy and Hayesville nearly half the people are from Florida, not the same emotional bond to the community and schools.

I do think If Andrew's had 370 like Robbinsville they still wouldnt be as competitive at Robbinsville. Not even close.
Andrew's just dropped below 300 a few years back and loss kids to EC
Just about all false. Murphy has athletes that have rville roots. Rville has had alot of former playes leave...that have had children that have played elsewhere. Good story though.

Not saying one or the other is better but most people dont leave robbinsville but the few who do dont usually come back after getting a taste of what else is out there. Strong tradition, family ties, allure of small town going be a big hero etc. Keeps most families/players here. Spot on Mbdfan.

You can argue semantics if you want, it's a FACT that Robbinsville's retention rate of families with roots in the area is exponentially higher than a Murphy. It's a big factor in Robbinsville's success, I'd kill to have had the same rate at Murphy.
Big difference in changing the narrative to rates...and saying nobody leaves. Rville has lost plenty. Fact.
