Anyone who says something positive about Shelby is now a Shelby fan apparently.
Sam Mackie's father was my defensive coordinator in high school. I know he'll shut down Shelby. The only question is how well Hibriten can move the ball on Shelby.

All I was saying is hibriten has a good defensive but won't hold Shelby to 7 or less . No one has done that but south pointe Rock Hill . Total yards I think was about 200. If you can put up that kind of effort 4 quarters and score you guys in great shape. For the title.

And we all know South Pointe is in a different category. They will be playing for the SC 4A State title on Saturday.
Shelby's defense only gave up 25 points to Pointe though. That is the lowest amount of points SC 4A Pointe has scored all season long ((the next closest was GA 5A Buford at 33). They just scored 67 on Greer.

Mr. Two cents less than a Nickel, you have an opinion that Shelby will win easily. I have an opinion that slightly favors Shelby Winning only because Hibriten has a tendency to cough up the ball but I do feel if somehow Hibriten is either even or + in the turnover dept. they will win. Best if left at that. Now go back and jump on that Shelby bandwagon and enjoy the ride

Shelby gave up 58 points in 2 games vs Belmont South Point. A team offensively very similar to Hibriten but with no Gee Witherspoon, who averages 20 yds per attempt
Again, South Pointe and South Point are not Hibriten. Do I need to remind you what South Point did to Hibriten last year at this time?
And before you post it, yes I agree, Hibriten seems to have a better team this year than last. That is why I think they will score 14 on Shelby and not be shutout.

I think I am giving Hibriten a compliment saying they will score 14 on Shelby. Remember, SC 4A South Pointe scored 25 on them.

Yep, 31-14 is my prediction. But I could go as low as 24-14.
If Shelby scores 4 tds on Hibriten I will sit beside 2sense on his bandwagon
Neither team is two touchdowns better than the other and the only way Shelby puts up more than 14 Hibriten will have to put the ball on the turf
I have relatives that went to Hibriten. I like Hibriten what other requirements do i need to be a fan of their team and style of play? Hibiriten played a terrible 1st half. Newton coaches coached a terrible 2nd half. I nor you are delusional enough to think you should've won by the 17 pts that you say. Hibriten coaches were more than happy to escape with a 1 pt win as bad as they played. Credit NC for some of that.
I adjusted my low end score to 24-14. I think Shelby will score at least three TDs on Hibriten and one FG in a game where Hibriten limits their turnovers. The way I get to four TDs is I think Hibriten may have a costly turnover that will lead to a TD for Shelby.
And I just disagree with you Gregg, Shelby is two touchdowns better than Hibriten.

Most all great teams are hated by other fans. I happen to think Shelby is King and WRH is a little behind. 4 peat and 5 peat.

My team bowed out in the playoffs, so I choose to spend my money watching another local team and I want that team to win. Once again you sound ignorant. I respect Shelby, my wife graduated from Shelby. They are a football dynasty in NC. I just hate it when some successful school's are disrespected
So when have you seen Hibriten play this year? And honestly I mostly just enjoy HS football because my alma mater sucks now and hasn't been relevant in football since the 80's and 90's
