I get it, you're a sad NC fan in disillusion and besides, it wasn't me that said that, I just agreed with the original posterYoure the delusional idiot thinking you should've beaten Newton by 17. You're really an idiot.

So when have you seen Hibriten play this year? And honestly I mostly just enjoy HS football because my alma mater sucks now and hasn't been relevant in football since the 80's and 90's
I respect Shelby, but several years back I watched Freedom manhandle them 3 straight years.
My alma mater was West Caldwell High and they aren't relevant at all anymore. I actually live and work in Shelby and my friends and i pretty much pick out a game on Friday night's to go watch. You can laugh at WC all you want but when I was there (1980's) We were conference champions all four years, and lost to Shelby on 50 yard FG in the western finals. Like I said, a school that's not relevant anymoreI saw them play NC and Bandys.
Which school is your alma mater?

Bad hires , had football going back in positive direction, lost Coach English, Then another bad hire. They aren't even relevant in Basketball anymore. What happened to them? Oh yeah Tarheel Greg, I had relatives that played ball there as well.
Y’all beat us 3 times when our talent level was way down except for a handful of players. Pats you use to have at least some sense. What happened to you??I respect Shelby, but several years back I watched Freedom manhandle them 3 straight years.
I think they meet their match Friday night at Jeff Storie Memorial.... on that cold, dark, dirty field!
Same here, 2 cents got me fired up, lol......I understand that tarheel. I also apologize for the name calling my man.
One too many football threadsY’all beat us 3 times when our talent level was way down except for a handful of players. Pats you use to have at least some sense. What happened to you??
They've not had any consistency since the Biggerstaff era and God knows how long ago that was and how old it makes me feelRegarding West Caldwell when Styron left the Football team went in the tank. When Anderson left the Basketball team went downhill. English had the football program headed back in the right direction and then he left. Middle School football program is a joke.
Biggerstaff was my dad's d coordinator at FreedomThey've not had any consistency since the Biggerstaff era and God knows how long ago that was and how old it makes me feel
Remind me Beamer, was your dad a Green Wave?Biggerstaff was my dad's d coordinator at Freedom
No disrespect to current West Caldwell coach.... only been there 1 season, so who knows.
He went to Glen Alpines grade schools.Remind me Beamer, was your dad a Green Wave?
South Point threw the ball more last year than they did the whole season. SPs ability to pass and Hibritens inability to was the difference in the game.I think this will be a better game then last year’s regional final vs SP.... I for one think the players looked at 9-4(give or take) record of SP and took them for granted... I personally remember sitting in the stands last year trying to tell people that it wasn’t going to be a cake walk and finally they looked at my buddy and I at Half and said we wouldn’t have ever believed this if we weren’t here.... Also we stuck our best cover guy who was 5’8” on Muse and never made an adjustment... Needless to say every 3rd down he ran an out or in cut and the QB threw it over our CB’s head... I have seen this year’s defense make adjustments from game to game as well as at halftime to counter what the other team does well... I could possibly see Hibriten getting a huge takeaway at some point to either score off of or put their offense in great field position.
Off the top of my head I think all but 1 or 2 of this year’s starters were on that field last December and therefore remember how they felt as well as seeing all their senior “brothers” careers come to a crashing halt... I think there is no way they come out unprepared or flat against Shelby and will leave everything they have on the field so they don’t have the same feeling again this year on their home turf....
Now before people jump my butt I’m not saying that Hibriten will definitely win this game but I personally feel more confident this year this week then I did last year... We will have to play a perfect game and maybe create a turnover or 2 or get a return TD to help us win but if we don’t turn the ball over or have killer penalties I don’t see a blowout either... JMO

I thought so. A nice tradition just west of Morganton. He went to Glen Alpines grade schools.
Did you not notice the lol on the end there, lighten up, it's called sarcasmWhy, because I think Shelby is going to beat Hibriten? You live in Shelby man, you will hear that all week long. Try not to lose it every time you do.
Holeman had some health issues that kept him away from the team alot early in the year too.No disrespect to current West Caldwell coach.... only been there 1 season, so who knows.

He had 16 starters returning from a sd-7 conference champion so I'd be a little worried. 9 starters on defense and the defense was horrendousNo disrespect to current West Caldwell coach.... only been there 1 season, so who knows.
No good seating over there, lolJust make sure you sit on the winning side Friday night. Shelby's.
I promise you, it will be different this year, wait and seeSouth Point just exposed Hibriten last year. Hibriten had played a soft schedule for the most part and it showed against South Point. Plus, they just didn't have the toughness that South Point had.
