This is not a projection but play to date

1 Conn 12-1 2-0
Tough schedule better results

2 St John's 7-4 1-0
SHU and Nova breathing down Pitino's neck

3 Seton Hall 11-1 1-0
Tues to play for undisputed 3rd place

4 Villanova 9-2
If Kotter can be welcomed back why not Willard

5 Butler 9-3 1-1
Recently caught in the buzzsaw called UConn

6 Creighton 7-5 2-0
What a difference a week makes

7 Providence 7-6 0-2
Hangin by a thread here

8. Xavier 9-4 1-1
Pushed Cooley over the edge

9. Georgetown 8-4 1-1
Neck and neck with Xavier

11 Marquette 5-8 0-2
Gonna be a dog fight all year with DePaul

11 DePaul 8-5 0-2
Well, at least they gave UConn a game for 20 minutes

To be fair, Mr. Woodman never really welcomed Kotter back. LOL.

UConn
Seton Hall
St. John's
Villanova
Butler
Xavier
Georgetown
Creighton
Providence
Marquette
DePaul

I would switch depaul and Marquette
Depaul is not terrible. Not sure whats wrong with Marquette. Whats happened to gold? He digressed big time.

1. UConn
In a league of their own.

------

2. Seton Hall

Greater than the sum of their parts. SHU passes the eye test. This team is game. SJU is lame.

3. St. John's
Lesser than the sum of their parts. Talent quotient still puts them above the rest, but wouldn't be surprised if they take some conference losses soon.

4. Villanova
Two decent power conference wins of late.

5. Butler
Could be interchangeable with Nova, still not sure how much I believe in them.

------

6. Providence

Not a fan but they do have a decent home court advantage, they could sneak some wins.

7. Creighton
Caught Xavier on an off night and beat a horrible Marquette team. Still not a believer.

8. Xavier
Had to put Creighton higher but still liking Xavier's recent play aside from their stinker.

9. Georgetown
Imploding. Cooley losing control.

10. DePaul
They have a few pieces and could give some teams trouble. Could easily move up one if Gtown keeps sliding.

11. Marquette
So much for the benefits of retaining players for continuity.
