What’s wrong with krockenhiemer? The Florida state transfer. Why not start him? Or play both backups he and Taylor and see what sticks

Remember the quick pass he threw that wasn’t even close? I immediately thought of Vasity Blues when Mox hit the other teams mascot with the ball to stop the clock. He also missed a wide open crossing route inside the red zone and almost threw it into the stands.
He threw one over the middle in the first half to a wide open guy. The ball almost went through the uprights!

Yes that’s the one I was referring too. Did it go threw the uprights? I thought it did actually.
So who do we have working with these qbs to fundamentally develop them? I know Lebby was o lineman himself. I saw where this is the first gig by himself that our qb coach has had. Lebby’s always had more quarterback experience leading the way at his other stops, ex Heupel and Kiffin

Nah, he's processing way faster than Shapen. Shapen locks in on one guy, takes a sack, and fumbles. Dude has 3 more TDs than turnovers. That's a shittton of bad from Shapen! Taylor has to learn touch on the short balls and that's about it. He handles the RPO better too

In no way is Taylor processing faster than Shapen. Shapen has 6 picks at least 2 of which were entirely the receivers' faults. He's lost only 2 fumbles despite getting hit at 20 times per game. Its debatable whether Taylor is better than Shapen at rpo. I am looking forward to Taylor in the future, but he is not ready now.

Go to the 9:28 mark of this video. Screen grabs below. Eric Moulds on Randy Moss' shoulders didn't stand a chance.

The hilarious thing about this is that no matter what Lebby does on Saturday, he's going to catch hell from half our fanbase.
👆 This!!

And for the record if Lebby decides to start Taylor and play him the entire game, i won't say a word. Bc i know Lebby knows way more than me and 10,000 times more than most posters and fans.

75 for Shapen, 72 for Taylor. A lot of people gonna be really unhappy one way or the other come Saturday.

If State's OL isn't at 100%, then that means there's a deficiency there. Shapen will look like David Carr if the OL isn't at 100%. They used to say that David Carr was a sack waiting to happen. That's kind of where Shapen is right now.

Kamario definitely needs more playing time. When the OL has glaring deficiencies, you need someone who can scramble to keep the play alive. I also believe Kamario gives the OC (Lebby) some different options to be more aggressive on offense since the defense will be held in check by having a mobile QB in the game.
I remember the announcer saying we almost had a different line for each game this season. Sounds like our staff is still trying to figure things out.

What quarter was it in? and was in early, middle or late in the quarter.
I can’t remember exactly. I think we’re we’re headed toward the locker rooms. Friend said the commentators on television were really making fun of how off the mark it was. One of them said sarcastically “justtt a bit outside”

Where's all the Lebby should adjust to the personnel BS the same idiots over here wanted a few weeks ago. Well here's your damn chance and you're all trying to weasel out of now because the fact is, you'd just assume we lose

I don't want this to divide our fans. I like both QBs. If I knew the line could block for routes to develop, I would absolutely go with Shapen. Since I don't, I think Taylor gives the us best chance to win, that is all.

I voted Taylor just because I think with his ability to scramble it can take some pressure off the offensive line and open up the playbook some, plus what do we have to lose. Though as DS said I think Shapen has a better grasp on the offense. As I've said before though it really doesn't matter either way because I don't have confidence in this staff to manage the QB situation properly.

i don't think Shapen has a better grasp of the offense. He struggles with his progressions and misreads the RPO and can't run it anyway. The RPO without a mobile QB is limited. Shapen's two or three bombs a game are outweighed by his 6 missed ones and his slow progression and locking onto one guy and taking sacks and turning it over.

I voted KT just because I don't think Shapen can be 100% by Saturday. With him not even practicing yesterday it's evident that he is hurt. Tell KT that Saturday is his and have Shapen as backup if needed (if he is even well enough to do that). Hell, throw in the white boy from FSU and see what he can do if we need a backup

Yeah. I think it's going to be KT by default, and heaven help us if he gets hurt. Is Kromenhauk even dressing out for games any more?

I voted Taylor, because Shapen ain't it. All KT does is score TDs He doesn't take sacks, he scores in the red zone. He doesn't overthrow WRs as much as Shapen does. He can see over the line. He can run a m'fer over or out run Him. he is the most talented qb we have ever signed. just let Him and Fluff run the read option and not even throw a pass-then we would better off than loser Shapen. Damn some of our fans are hard headed.

I'm interested to see Kamario play a full game. Seems he sails the ball high when he gets inserted in a game during crunch time because he is so pumped up. He settles in later. I could actually see us beating the hell out of someone with him if they can't stop his scrambling. He has the ability to keep the sticks moving and that's how you win. Shapen is a tough guy with a really good arm, and he's injured. Let Kamario play and if he is terrible, play Shapen when he's healthier during the Egg Bowl.

He is on 120% excitement and he will calm down and do great.
