I've come to the not too difficult conclusion that Tre Parker is not a PG and may be more productive as a backup SG. Meanwhile, I'm very impressed with Mike Williams, and think if he could run the point when Clark is sitting, our offense would work much better.

Things look very smooth with him in there, he is quick with the ball, moves the ball, runs offense, very good handles, good passer, and teams have to respect his outside shooting.

Parker had a great stint when Budd sat with 3 fouls. But yes, my man MW looked good too. Loving Mike and AJSM, WOW. AJ HIT THE 3 to tie yesterday and hut a huge 3 today. Both get to the rim and can make a jumper too. And Simpkins can play too.

Give me Simpkins, Parker, AJSM or Dar on a breakaway and the Rock will explode

I don't see it with Parker either, but it takes a lot of time.

This team moves and passes, which is refreshing. Can get buy with just having various players bring the ball up, I suppose.

the odd thing, i watched us at the rock and said "does anyone on this team move". and the offense not fun to watch

we play lower level teams, we win, but we dont disrupt them like we did the maui opponents. were we playing possum in the oocs?

Maybe Sha didn’t show the whole hand the first five games. Maybe the new roster just needed a little time. They came to Maui prepared and brought great energy all three games. The old line that “it was a business trip”.

Refreshing to see a rotation developing and guys getting comfortable with their roles. Would be nice to see Godswill and Patrick get healthy for depth soon.

Really impressed with Simpkins, Williams and Stanton-McCray. And of course Hines development.

Shot 52%, 56% and 57% from the field.

Watching the Halllights, Williams involved in so many of the plays in first half.

Sha clearly used first 5 games as part of orientation/training camp and the new guys are bought in.

Very smart going out to Hawaii so early. Sha and school knew how important it was to have a good tourney.

One big thing is that Holloway is now subbing based on need and play. No more predesigned 5 man mass substitutions that stifled both on court performance and momentum.

He is now using a 9 man rotation with each and every player contributing.

I actually thought Parker's contribution went unnoticed. Clarke's 3rd foul might have been a blessing. The energy was dissipating on the court, and Washington St. was gaining some momentum. When Parker and Hines entered the pace picked up and the offense started to increase the lead. Although nothing appeared on the stat sheet, Parker did add value.

Noticed too pick and rolls pickup with Parker in the game.

Need to give him a little bit more time to develop but like get 8 to 12 min out of him right now. And having Williams is a big help to, as he can help run the offense too.

yes, Parker did a good job in his stint when Budd had 3 fouls. i think the lead grew. And we did play well during that time.

Parker did have at least one nice assist to Hines for a good inside bucket. But most of the time I see the offense stagnating when he comes in. Maybe he can grow into it. Or maybe others like Williams have a more natural knack for this position.

Time will tell but I definitely would like to see more Mike Williams at point as we tinker and figure things out.

Even within that, Sha tightened the rotation a bit.

Dar played six, nine and 12 minutes in three games. Parker only played eight minutes against USC as Clark was playing well.
