Very limited audience for this as it goes back too many years for most but Zodiak in Mart 51 shopping center HWY 80
at Terry Road. Serious fun on a weekend night, especially if you only got in because your older brother loaned you his drivers license to get in.

Fin and Feather

ETA: Both places on Eagle Lake in the 50's ' 60's and early 70's. During those days Eagle Lake was THE place be during deer season for men hunting deer and women hunting men. I won't try to describe the places but I'll give a hint.....sawdust on the dance floors. C'mon Vicksburg guys don't act like you never heard of em.
80 Club east of Vicksburg on old Hwy 80. Wagon Wheel .... Capitol and Farish St in Jackson.

Cash McCools, Meridian
Holy crap, hadn't heard that name in a while. I was super young when we lived in Meridian, but that's where my parents went to disco dance. I still had shirts and maybe a hat for decades - wish I could find that stuff. I played my first pinball machine in there at maybe 6 years old.

I'm going way back now, but how about The Stone Toad in Hattiesburg, anybody?

Or also in Hattiesburg, The Endzone, my favorite of all time I think. I'm talking about the one that was way down Hardy St in the late 70's, not the newer one that opened closer to campus but is closed now I think. What about you patdog, ever go there? They had a porcelain bathtub in the mens room to take a wiz in, that was it, no shi-tter that I even remember and people would drop change into it because written in Sharpie around the edge was "Help send Dave to college" which was a reference to one of the owners Dave Brandon. They would charter buses to go to out of town USM games and load them up w/ kegs and people.

Po Monkeys
Oh Damn … half these folks don’t know that Delta Gem!! Too bad Monkey passed away years back. Come to find out, he ran the club and the land for another property owner. Shared a few Bud Heavy’s (24 oz) with him many times. Good Folks, Great Place! The Wednesday night dancer night was an ………. Educational Experience. Never seen big ladies pop pool table balls that far! Good lord!!! But saw many packed nights with good music (Shout out to Deer & Beer - DSU, TTKA)!

The original Lake Dixie Springs Cafe aka The Mallard north of Summit was legendary. It burned a few years ago and was re-opened in an old church moved on site.

The one with the off the books strip club around back? They had great biscuits, didn't know they closed.
That’s what’s funny, a truck stop with a strip club lol. Never checked out their book-reading section. Oppps, you said off the books strip club … you must have been an attendee. Your name screams some 15” Kickers with some radio shack amp, but I dig it sadly.

Lot's of great places, but easily the Dock is number one (folks from all the state know of it).

For cougar hunting, the 1001 Club (County Line Road in Jxn near the Hilton - I think it's Drago's now) was by far the best. Never has there been a hotter collection of horny 30-40 year old divorcees from FNEJ in one place.

Midnight Sun
WC Don's

Don's was the coolest club in the world and had some big names come through. It still had a little juice during my time in the early 90's.
