For Holloway, 1 down and 19 more to go. A looooong way to go but if he keeps the HALL in the conversation for a NCAAT berth into March then he deserves all the accolades he will get. What a great job he’s done so far.

Have we ever seen so many wild swings in performance and expectations, in some cases with coaches that have long and proven track records? Is this the new normal with NIL/transfer rules.

- Smart picked in the top 3/4 and they are worse than DePaul.
- McDermott picked in top 3 and Creighton struggling.
- Sha picked for 10/11 and now knocking on Top 25. Even the most optimistic fans thought this would be a “re-build” year.
- Willard picked in bottom half and Villanova looking like a top 3/4 team.

Cooley not being able to figure out the new landscape.
Butler and Xavier performing better than expected and Providence worse.
