At 10-1, if the team continues to play this well there’s a real chance to do some stacking early in the Big East schedule. Conference games are a different animal, but glad to have some excitement and relevance back after last year’s hiatus.

By KP/NET:

12/19 at Providence #66/#91
12/23 vs. Villanova #34/#34
12/30 at Marquette #98/#164
1/4 vs. Creighton #73/#112
1/10 at Georgetown #103/#126

Seton Hall is #50/#38, some interesting trends here!

We get 2 of our 3 "Bye Weeks" during this stretch. We need to come out strong. 4 to 6 days off between most games. After this period its 13 games in 6 weeks, no more than 2-3 days off between every game until late February.

Easier said than done. I have no idea how good or not good those teams are. But if I had to guess these will be evenly matched games. And evenly matched games can come down to bad calls or lucky bounces.

Agree. There are no sub #200/300 teams in the BE. Every game will be a dog fight. I like our chances in the early BE , but even though the team is playing well, nothing is guaranteed, especially on the road.

We can go 5-0
I think we have to be reasonable. Going 3-2 could be realistic. At that point SHU would have 13 wins with a long way to go. The good news is I'd say UConn (I know we beat them at home) is the only team that might sweep The Hall. This year I believe we can split with everyone else and possibly sweep a couple. The two SJU games could be tough battles. Best chances for sweeps are DePaul, Marquette and Providence. So, there is some latitude built into the schedule. Splits with Nova, Creighton, Gtown, Xavier, Butler and SJU will be important. Providence is the one that counts right now.
