Breeding Ts up Hurley

Hurley can be obnoxious but there was no reason to give him a technical for that. Breeding is a menace to college basketball.
He is the WORST. How is he doing the finals,he must have a Godfather in the business.
“Bought” John’s. I guess I have to suck them off but I don’t care I don’t to k they represent a food thing about college basketball and don’t want them representing the big east.
Sad truth is they wouldn’t do anything close to this if this was 2016-2020 even with Pitino.
I actually really believe our 2020 and 2016 beat this at st John’s team.
also this UConn team is worse in years.
outside Ball and Karaban a lot of mid players that would play for Marquette.
I really want Creighton, nova, and even Xavier to be good again cause they would be an 8th seed.
They benefit playing the weakest BE conference ever.

It looked to me like the rim shook as Zuby swatted at the ball. Could not see it hit the rim but def thought the rim shook.
SJU was awesome. Not sure about you guys, but thought we gave them a tougher game. Shocked UCONN folded late. Some days the 3s dont fall - 3 for 19.. Zuby!!!!!!!

Zuby is one of the wilder player development stories I've seen in some time. With where he was a sophomore and what he can do now.
Just like HS refs it's a fraternity. Hard to snuff out guys like Breeding no matter how bad he is . I also have a friend who refs D1 women's BB ref he has said it's hard to move up. He has done 1 Hall game but mostly lower D1 games but if they say they are short a ref last minute in say Siena he gets a call he has to take the job or get shut out in the future. He has been doing this for at least 5 years and is still paying his dues .
If I were the Big East officials I would T him up every game in 1st half. And it would be deserved. He was on Mike Roberts before the game even started. Maybe he would eventually get the message that you can’t act like a SH-tHead from the jump every game.

Just part of the coaching . Trying to work the officials and he is good at it .
Glad Jimmy Jackson explained the exact reason why he got technical. Officials are tied of his crap from the start

I think the problem with coaches being 'T"d up is mostly a problem with the coaches and not the Refs. Most of the technicals are very much deserved. Danny could get more than one a game and they would all be deserved.

If only, we came in with our "A" game against SJ, I believe we could have won.

He may take it to extreme but most if not all coaches try to work and complain to refs .They do it in the women's games and at the High school level .

UCONN seems to have peaked. Reed is the only one raising his game now. After last night, hard to see Karaban as first team BET. And Demary is a nice player, but over rated at Big East first squad. On the other hand, hard to fathom Demary, Ball, Mullins not returning. UCONN a #2 and St. John's a#5 feels out of whack.
Zuby was also the Big East Men's Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year. He credited his mom for making him a student first because "this game is not going to be around forever". Good for him for listening to his mom and taking advantage of the education that basketball provided him.
I don’t see how Mullins is a potential lottery pick. Definitely should return.
It's beyond ironic for a guy whose team is led by Quick Rick to call for more sportsmanship and class, which are probably the only two tools he never pulls from his pants.
As I said after our Uconn game, Bob Hurley Sr might have said to Dan after our game, "now they know why we complain all game". Foul on Budd, SHU now down 1...Bob Sr complained when he was up 20. And btw, he is a good man and I have no reason to think Dan isnt one too.
