The conference is starting to shape out a little more with respect to how the teams will align this season only two weeks left until it's time for conference play. After the third week this is how I see the conference shaping up, keep in mind I've only seen JK, Lakewood, and Rosewood play. The teams below don't represent the finishing order just who should be battling for those spots at the end of the year.
First Place: James Kenan just made a statement that they are the best team in the conference this past week, they played maybe the most complete game they have played since December of 2013. It will be tough for the rest of the conference to compete but there are still some strong teams fighting for second. Last year James Kenan was played tough by Princeton, Lakewood, and Rosewood.
Second/Third Place: Lakewood/Rosewood both teams are strong and play similarly to each other they have had some struggles against early opponents. They play hard nosed defense and like to finesse on offense. Lakewood has the greatest potential to beat James Kenan in the conference but Rosewood I feel is better than Lakewood this season.
Fourth/Fifth/Sixth Place: Hobbton/North Duplin/Princeton North Duplin has looked bad at times this year, Princeton too, and from what I've read and heard about those two is there has to be some urgency in their offenses to have any shot at disrupting those top three schools. Hobbton is a wild card I can see them finishing top three with the amount of success they have had early in the year but, they are still very young and look to contend more next season after getting adjusted to their new coaching and play style.
Seventh Place: Spring Creek for obvious reasons, they haven't done anything this season to make us think they will contend for a third tier spot.
