my rhs eagles host 3-a cb-aycock @ 7.00pm this friday night. rosewood lost key players from last year but have solid qb and promising rbs. i see j kenan, lakewood too battle for #1.. look out for the bulldogs from princeton. ...looking forward too a exciting season.

Very exited about Princeton football this year, coach gaster has got these boys all on same page, very strong and very disciplined, can't wait till Friday night!!!!!! Good luck to all in conference.
sportsnut...i like the 7.00 start time and all did this last season in the cc and i didnt hear complaints.
It pains me that I wont be able to attend CC Games like I have in the past, but looking into some box scores from Friday and talking to some old acquaintances I think JK, Lakewood, Princeton and ND could be the Top 4 in some order.
James Kenan is always difficult, but after a tough game Monday it is apparent that they still have the talent to be at the top of the conference.
Lakewood is a physical team and their athletes are well coached and hard nosed. This is the team I give the biggest chance to upset Kenan's run of the conference.
Princeton isn't going to be the down team they started out as last year, this Princeton team will be back into contention, but this isn't going to be easy as other teams in the conference have more athletes than the Dogs
North Duplin supporters have told me this might be the best rounded team since the '10 title run team. Watch out for the Rebels to cause fits

Unfortunately it looks like JK will be without Ken Avent III for the majority of the year. Will not be the same team from years past. Eager to see if this young group of Tigers can win the conference in a down year.

North Duplin might have their best team since the state championship run but even so the kind of competition they play hasn't been forgiving, probable win tonight VS South Lenior but still anything can happen ND has what looks like a win next week at home VS Pender

ajjjames I agree Princeton looks good, but this is a very fast James Kenan team. They will be well coached and are hungry to get back to winning. I never said it would be a blowout, but I believe that JK will win in the end.
jeffriday hoping for a great game either way, from my understanding princeton has never beating jk, maybee this is the year before realightment.
I don't know if they haven't ever beaten JK maybe somewhere in the 80s/90s. I think the fans in Princeton will get their money's worth.
Don't think the Carolina Conference has ever been this balanced top to botton. Should be some great games on every field every week. ND has hopefully a tuneup game this week with Lejeune before first conference game with Lakewood. Stumbling out the gate they have shown improvement every week but are 85% from potential, IMO. A safe and dry Friday night or afternoon in our case.
North Duplin handles Lejune easily. North Duplin could probably be at 50% potential and win that one.
rosewood 56 hobbton 34....my rhs eagles are playing good ball as our rivals 7 miles west up the railroad tracks(princeton high).....north duplin as spring creek are playing well also.....lakewood is the team too beat...and they are very good!!... my rhs eagles travel too j-kenan next friday@ 7.00pm. ...this has been a very exciting!!! season in our carolina conference!!!

jh60... defense...dont give up the big play....which has hurt my eagles all season. coach avent as the tigers have lost key players but is reshaping his team. ball control... jk offense were on the field for a long time....if the rebels can play ball control as they did with the huge win! vs lakewood. should be a great game. i am busy pre-game but you know as in the past...you are always welcome!!
JK @ North Duplin should be a great game. Congrats to the Rebels on beating Lakewood. It's good to see JK continue to fight after the adversity we have dealt with.
