Maybe you should look at the whole body of work of a team and not just 1 win. PM played 4, 0-10 teams. No one else did that, Did they? You belong at 6 and should be a 8 or 9 seed.

Give me PM by two possessions. This game doesn't really matter because neither one of these teams is beating that Monster in Wytheville.
If GW beats PH again which we should it will be interesting to see how the 3rd round matchup works out.

To get on here and proclaim that no one will beat GW, is setting yourself up for 1001 excuses to why they didn't win.
Why would I make an excuse if they didn't win? I've seen them and every team left in the West play, no one SHOULD beat them. If they play sound football, they will beat everyone in the West they play.

I can't believe I'm actually siding with Fort89 lol but Galax beat GW by 25 so until they beat them I'd say Galax is better. Maybe not 25 points better but come playoff time there isn't any coach in the West and not many in the state period that I'd rather have on my sideline than Mark Dixon

You said IF they play sound football and if they don't? That is an excuse and you haven't even made it to the game. Playing sound football goes for ever team left. The team that doesn't and still finds a way to win. Will be in Salem.
I'm definitely not making excuses and not even pulling for GW. I actually graduated from FC, but GW is the most complete team, even with the loss to Galax. If they lose, they lose. I'll give credit where credit is due and move on. I just believe after seeing these teams play, GW is definitely the most athletic and most complete on both sides of the ball. I have no skin in the game, I was just giving my opinion on the outcome of the West. My bad.

The most complete doesn't always win, but.....usually does. Talent/Athleticism is a huge factor in sports, especially high school sports where there is usually a huge gap from team to team. GW has a huge talent advantage against everyone in the West. The teams left in the West will need to replicate what Galax did against GW and that's control the trenches and make them turn it over 25 times. I don't see GW turning it over now as much as they did against Galax. As you said, time will tell.

So I'm confused how pointing out pivotal points to the game are classified as "excuses". GW turned the ball over against Galax, a lot. Did some of that have to do with Galax, of course. Did some of that have to do with sloppy play by GW, of course. If GW doesn't turn the ball over as much, they should beat Galax. If Galax beats them AGAIN, all you can do is tip your hat and say good game. All I'm doing is giving my opinion on who is the best in the West. Nothing more, nothing less.

Yes they got beat by Galax and no you can't blame it on the turn overs. But I was at the game. You don't give a team like Galax the ball on your on 30 yard line twice in the first half and not give up points. You don't turn the ball over inside their 20 twice and win 5he ballgame. I was wondering how many turn overs did Galax have against Fort Chiswell. Just wondering
Hurley better have far superior talent on the field than PM does, because I seriously doubt they can top the Blues in the fundamentals and execution department. Best coached team I've seen in a long time.

Hurley has a lot of talent both sides of the ball they execute very good and will knock your foundation loose., superior I wont touch that but there very well coached Tester and Davis are solid. Going to be a good game hope every body comes out supports there team. safe travels for you guys traveling to Hurley.
