Cherif to UK

This is a monster commit for Coach Pope. This kid will be a superstar.
Great for Pope. He needed a big splash. And as far as I can tell, this recruit has been rising in the rankings, shouldn't have the freefall Hampton did after committing.
Elsewhere, the biggest (literally) name to keep a very close eye on is Cherif Millogo, who just wrapped up his third official visit and is expected to move toward a decision in the very near future, with Kentucky seen as the heavy favorite. The 7-foot-5 center saw one of the most significant jumps in the entire class, one of just 10 players to move up between 15 and 40 spots in Monday’s update.
He wrapped up the weekend ranked No. 30 overall, but now begins the week at No. 11 overall, making him the No. 2 center in the class. That’s immediately behind former UK target Lewis Uvwo (No. 10), who committed to Providence last week.
If Millogo pulls the trigger on the Wildcats, as expected, he would then become Pope’s highest-rated and most intriguing high school pledge to date.

Where Ryan Hampton, Cherif Millogo landed in new 2027 Rivals150 Rankings
The updated 2027 Rivals150 Rankings brought big changes, including several involving future Kentucky Wildcats—both already committed and potentially sooner rather than later.
Expected be closer to 7'9" by the time he enrolls.
Matchup nightmare. Much more mobile and skilled than most players that size. Love this addition.
Him and Hampton are a great start. Lot of length. Now get Benji hopefully then retention and portal what we need after that.
Our past experience with “superbigs” has not gone so well (see Shagari Alleyne, Jared Carter, etc.). But I’m optimistic that this one will turn out more like Zach Edey than those guys.
The last several hours have been fantastic.
Now he's got the five star camel off his back! LFG!!!
Cody Feuger should sing "I Got The Cherif"..
Awesome
The whiff crowd can hide and weep

with all due respect the first clip he made an atrocious pass and got lucky it found its way into his teammates hand
Bro. All anyone wants is to win. How hard is that to understand?
The pass wasn't good but grabbing a rebound and dribbling 3/4 court is not something 7'5 kids are normally doing in a live game.
U cant teach height.
Awesome pickup! If pope can get a couple more players like this, that gives him an ace at season end no matter how march goes. Mesh some veterans with talented freshmen and thats a recipe for success.

Hampton is going to be a very good player also, both are going to do well here!
Hey bro
Hide and weep
But but but Pope can’t sign top recruits.
I don't think anyone has ever said this lol.
It's just no secret recruiting hasn't been the greatest under Pope, at least not what it needs to be.
This is a good start tho.
Huge, in every use of the word.
I've watched this kid's rise. He is a potential top five recruit by next spring. He's also a guy who lots of top recruits and portal guys will want to play with -- and he's already made Hampton a better player, forcing defenses to collapse and providing an unmissable lob target .
Great win for Pope.

Great get for Coach. Tired of being negative, Let's Fkn Go Cats!
You logically can't want to win and get Pope out at the same time. If we win, Pope stays. Pretty logical..
I want Pope to win every single game. The fact that he has not and has sucked at recruiting is why I’ve been down on him. Not that hard to understand.
What the **** you talking about? Go **** yourself. You hide *****.
That's like eating at a Jack in the Box and being worried about eating a steak at Jeff Ruby's because your past experiences with beef didn't go so well.
1-33 and you losers come out to talk ****.
