He’s literally not a negative person at all. Some of you are so insanely shoved up every coaches *** so far that you see a normal rational thinking objective person and think holy sht, what’s that!

Everyone is excited about football. I’ve been to all the games except one. I was in Norman, I will be at Missouri and home against Florida. I was watching the basketball team last night (although it’s hard to get super into it right now). Pope god an intriguing recruit, it doesn’t change anything. Pope has to win to the standards of Kentucky and the standards HE HIMSELF set or he might not make it there anyway. A lot of us personally view Pope as a dead man walking, that will change the second he does Kentucky things. He has yet, at all, to do Kentucky things.

guys like Chroix are not the problem. The problem is the results and the hire Barnhart brought in. Mark Pope is 100% not qualified to coach at the University of Kentucky. And you won’t debate it, you can’t. So let’s let Mark do something worthy of the Kentucky job and until then lay off good posters like Chroix who are just calling balls and strikes. I don’t see why that’s so difficult.
Maybe Chroix is OK …….but that snarks guy is a clown .

Blood pressure skyrocketing?
Sucks to be a teeter totter fan.
I choose to stay optimistic rather than not thinking things through and b!tch all the time like a lot on here.
All you are doing is proving that you are a trolling piece of ****.

For me personally, I still feel like the jury is out, even if its just the slightest bit. Now, I tend to agree with you, that at this point in time, November 4th, that Pope is not the right guy for the job.

But I still think theres a chance he just hasn't gotten his full bearings yet. Its possible that last year really qas a collection of dog-**** NIL-first players and that its something that really deviates from the norm.

So we basically got out first top10 recruit for next year, our team, while very very early, looked good yesterday. Still lots of work to be done, still lots of things I want to see Pope fix. But I do think there are avenues where Pope can prove himself as the right guy.

Fair take. Question will be how long to you leave that jury out and where does the fanbase lean if he has a mediocre season, something similar to the first year, in year 3.

This man could absolutely dominate college basketball if he continues to develop. Pope may have just bought himself another year with this signing, depending on who we retain and who else we sign.

Millogo could also wind up being a bust, of course. But his upside is… scary.

With all due respect, if he’d bringing the ball up and shooting threes for us then we are using him wrong.

Those two clips did not show what I wanna see. I hope he emulates Zach Edey’s game …forget the perimeter stuff and focus on being a monster in the paint.
Remember, Edey wasn't the monster he became on day one. Big guys like him, Cherif take a bit to become the go to guys they can be.

Bud. I’m stoked we got a five star. Even posted about it. I’m not going to tolerate taking **** from an idiot calling me a Duke fan. And I’m not going to tolerate strawmen set up to diss fans that want to win. If that’s not acceptable to you then block me.
This site has him as a 4 star.

Sadly it's gotta be this year. The easy part is if we suck or we're great. If we get a 6-seed again and are never really a threat to win in the 2nd weekend of the tournament, I think at the very least you see what other coaches are available and if any of them are on our wish list, you have to let Pope go. Anything less than those results should be immediate firing after the season.

On the the other hand if this team places like the year1 team did, we win a lot of big games, get a high seed and rattle off a Final4, then I think we can write off that 2nd season and we stick with Pope.

It's if we lose 8 or 9 games, win a S16, but look kind of shaky all year.. thats when the question will be tough.

Why has there been bellyaching? It’s not like it hasn’t been without cause.
I'm not gonna disagree with you there, but the sheer volume of it and the fact that it changes nothing this season is what's grating folks like nails on a chalkboard... IMO.

Damn Morg, I was not piling on Chroix. He had just had several posts where he was ranting with censored words, I was just pointing out it was ok to enjoy one day of a couple good things happening.

But, true to form, you come in with a wall of words, restating everything that has been stated numerous times before. Also, not so humble bragging on what a great fan you are...not for the first time.

Nobody is wanting to rehash the Pope grievances that have been stated a million times. Some just want to enjoy the day as it is. It may get better, it may get worse. Most of us just want the season to play out. It will take care of itself. I don't see why that is so difficult.
Morg is a self-centered Putz that thinks he's the center of the universe, but since he doesn't have his morgettes around him anymore, he's fading into security

Dude, UK got a commitment from a highly ranked player, won a game handily that they were supposed to, the football team is in the Playoff Committee Rankings....don't be so negative ALL the time. Try to find some fun in this.
He was not being negative. At. All. Instead, he was clearly trying to be positive until some troll started messing with him for no apparent reason.

You might try actually reading these exchanges before joining in.
