Mark Hudspeth is a super recruiter. If Dan Mullen gets in on those big-time players, then I'm confident that Mark Hudspeth can keep the recruiting class together and close on some more star players.<div>
</div><div>Mullen leaving and being replaced by Hudspeth is similar to Byrne leaving MSU but leaving the Athletic Department in charge of Scott Stricklin. Byrne had no ties to our school and because of that, he needed to work his azz off to prove himself. Once he did, he gave the reins to a young guy who learned under him, is applying the things he learned and adding some of his own touches, and is a true MSU Man.</div><div>
</div><div>Hudspeth is similar in that he would be replacing someone who building this program into a powerhouse, and can take the next step with the situation Mullen gave him. Also, because Hudspeth is a MSU fan, we'll be secure in that position for the next ten years while we compete with the other SEC schools for Conference and National Championships.</div>
