Proper insurance is harder and harder to obtain these days.
How ******* out of touch are you on the current state of health insurance? I’m guessing you’re on Medicare with a $200 a month supplement to get to the 100% number?
even the ACA? The ACA was created to make health insurance available to anyone who needed it.
You probably think immigrants don’t pay taxes or contribute to the economy, don’t you. I’d like to see a breakdown on the billions Illinois gave illegal immigrants.
I am on Medicare and I do have a supplement...Tricare for life. And, I pay more for healthcare than I ever did in my life...And, I don't complain about it.
So, enlighten me on the current state of health insurance...What did I post that was incorrect?

yea but you just changed from everyone can get insurance....Insurance is available to everyone, but like most things in life you buy what you want or what you can afford. I get it that health insurance is expensive, especially when the increased subsidies expired.
It's similar to auto insurance, you can buy the minimum required but stand to end up with large bills if you have an accident not covered.
Or like life insurance, you can buy the minimum and leave your wife and kids destitute if you are killed by a runaway car.

Health insurance is available to everyone....you might not want to trade off your Starbucks or iphone , or steak dinners to buy it, but you can definitely get it.
Boomers mentality is crazy...not sure I agree. I know a lot of boomers - of which I am not one - where I would agree with you. But I know a lot of others who wouldn't trade off health care insurance for anything. See, health problems, parts wearing out, are much more prevalent as you age.
What difference does it make if its a commercial product or not? There are ACA products that cover 100%. Buy one, then you won't have to worry about major health care costs. Don't buy one and then complain if you have a health problem that your lack of insurance doesn't cover. I know there are people in gen X, millenials, Gen X who understand the concept of personal responsibility.
Are there some people who have problems with health insurance. Sure there are...but that's what the ACA was supposed to deal with. If the ACA is inadequate, blame the people who created and passed it. Or, vote for people who will change it.
OK, I'll accept your premise. But from my pre Medicare experience..I had a company plan that covered 80% and I bought a supplemental plan that covered the remaining 20%. So my out of pocket was only the supplemental at $167/month.
So based on my experience and what the all knowing internet is telling me. that method still exists today.

Most people never get to a game ever. The location is really not that big a deal to most Bears fans because they watch it on TV.
