Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes are losing one of the best recruits in the state to an SEC program.
He better be willing to spend his own money because the big dogs are not going to let him get top recruits with CU's money. He may have been far better off before NIL. I'm not suggesting he won't get some great players but some of these schools have unlimited money to spend.

The turmoil surrounding the PAC can't be helping Colorado recruiting. They need to get media rights and conference affiliation resolved...yesterday.

What’s he have? Something like two 5 stars and ten 4 stars signed since he showed up? Compared to our four 4 stars. Not saying you can go by stars but at least Colorado made an effort. I guess we are going to evaluate Brown until this contract expires as we enter our 5th year of not being ranked in the top 25.
Perhaps Brown should spend some of his own money and build a team cause we are not competing with anyone.

When was the last time Colorado was ranked?

Why are you even comparing Brown and Deion?

Everyone knows what Brown has done at the P5 level. Nobody knows What Deion will be able to do.

As stated above Colorado does not have the cash flow to compete with top blue bloods. Just as WVU doesn't. Deion let a top player from the state of Colorado get lured away.

Deion in 2024 has 0 5* star recruits, 2 4* recruits an 3 3* recruits

2023 - 1 - 5*, 3 - 4*, 11 - 3* recruits.

transferring in 1 - 5*, 2 - 4*, 13 - 3*

7 of those transfers are from JSU, his former FCS coaching job.

Lucky for him he is coaching in PAC 12. That should help land him a new job in the SEC.

That is literally the best idea I've heard in ages. Please let some reporter bring that up.

The coach tells the player who to call or hands over the list to the NIL program, but the coach is (by rule) not supposed to be the one offering the NIL deals.

Granted it is going on and the weak NCAA will cover their eyes while walking past the big boys cheating as they catch The University of Boone County Red Necks offering a quarter to a kid so he can catch the bus home.

He's just not a very good coach. JSU couldn't even win a Celebration Bowl against a couple of really bad MEAC teams. SC State's Buddy Pough basically laughed at Deion before and after curb-stomping him with a 6-5 team. With all of his recruits Deion never beat anyone outside the joke SWAC. He will be exposed at the P5 level. Most of his best recruits will be in the portal within two years.

I heard on the radio that Deon asked the kid to leave. He is a strict and wont tolerate the ********. I predict Deon turns out to be a really good coach.

Sometimes the only thing people dont believe is the truth. It was on WV Metro News radio today....
He must've run off the #2 Recruit in the state of Colorado. That explains it. It wasn't the kids choice but it was Daddy D that told him to scram.

If he doesn't want the best of the best from his own state he is sure to leave a mark when he exits in 2 years.

Actually I think it was talked about on Pat McAfee show. They said Deon said that he asked that player to leave. Something like he wasnt buying in to what Deon wants to do. But who knows, and I really dont care about CU anyway. However I do like buffalo burgers.

So Pat is a Buffalo fan now and not a Longhorn.

Colorado had 18 players enter the transfer portal on Monday. So far, 63 of their 83 scholarship are in portal. He just killed their depth so he has a busy summer ahead.

The speech I saw him give the team when he took the job shocked me. I didnt realize he was going to be such a discipline minded coach, but he definitely is. A lot of these kids out of high school are not going to like it, imo. But the ones who do are probably going to go much farther in life. He may find it hard to keep the high ranked players. They are getting millions of dollars now and they may as well get driven to the game in limo.

He isn't looking high school. He is looking transfer portal and instant wins. He doesn't want to be there very long.
