That was very strange. Seems like there's some tension between those two.
I watched the replay three-four times. Mullen comes up tells Stricklin hands off. Verbal and Non-Verbal communication. Just wait somebody's going to repost the video. Not saying Mullen will be gone. But the body language tells the story. Ole Miss/Egg Bowl is a must win. Either way gonna be a tough post season discussion between the two. Remember Stricklin didn't hire Mullen.
Mullen is in the heat of battle and just watched Bell 17 up again. Trust me, I coach and I tell my parents that there will be no talking about issues after games because games are emotional and nothing good comes from emotional conversations. I tell them to call me the next day and we can talk when we have cooler heads and can have a reasonable conversation. I'm sure Mullen was pissed and probably said something he wouldn't have if it wasn't during the game.

Is there any rule against who can talk to the players on the sideline during a game? Maybe not, because Bo Jackson seems to be on the sideline of EVERY Auburn game.
Yes. Stricklin shouldn't be on the field, he's the AD. So the Mullen-Stricklin exchange only amplifies his lack of confidence in Mullen. The Team needs leadership. Hence Stricklin is there for the team.
