Not yet. I sent a message to gofundme and hope for an answer tomorrow morning as to timetable.
Not for nothing, but this was one of the biggest reasons why we were leary about having the GoFundMe page plastered all over these boards. Completely anonymous things aren't always the best way to go about things. Hopefully it works out for everybody and your money gets to the proper place somehow. Remember, if you get it back, I'm sure you could donate it directly to Rutgers.
GoFundMe is reputable enough for crowd-funding, and I've never had issues dealing with them in the past. I can't speak for everyone who donated to the campaign started by 'theRU', but I'm leery of donating directly to Rutgers for football right now because I'm dissatisfied with the current coaching situation and don't blindly trust the administration to make the right decision after this season. FWIW, the money donated through GoFundMe (even though it wasn't accepted) was for a very specific and publicized purpose.
You guys all deserve to lose your money. A rutgers baseball player starts a cancer fund after losing his mother and raises $5K, none from this forum donate or support.
A coach (that I also want fired) has a page set up to lose his job and you guys all pitch in money. Some "F.A.M.I.L.Y." this is.

Win and keep doubling down.... With a little luck, you might have the 1.5 million real soon.....The spread for Saturday's game has dropped from 9.5 to 8.5. Pretty sure somebody put $8k on Rutgers.
I only saw it one time and you said this:Numerous times in the spring.
Just got the following reply:
Hello David,
I see that we are in the process of issuing refunds to donors. Let me reach out to our payment processors to confirm when the refunds will be processed.
I will keep you posted with any updates I have as I receive them.
In the meantime, don't hesitate to let me know if you need anything else. I'll be here.
Thanks,
Jon
I am tempted to ask him if, from his experience, that baseball players are dicks. I also lost my mother to cancer but, 1) never saw his campaign, 2) never thought to try to cash in on it and 3) Would never call anyone out for not contributing to a charitable issue.
"Hope you all lost all your money because you didn't give me money?!?!" Hopefully his dick-ish statements aren't reflective of his true self.
Sorry, I emailed GoFundMe and Jon was the employee that responded to me. In other words, "it's a process."is "Jon" a GoFundMe person or the guy who started the collections? and where is "here"?

Sometime Jon's best will be good enough to beat the best. Right now he's dinged up with a shoulder and a knee. Keep chop'in Jon!Sorry, I emailed GoFundMe and Jon was the employee that responded to me. In other words, "it's a process."
Rutgers is certainly abiding by their mission of giving people new learning experiences...You'll have to excuse GoFundMe on this delay. They've never dealt with a charity already certified on their website refusing a donation before.
And I'm sure it'll be blown by the end of the day at the local livestock brothel!I just got a check for nearly $10,000 from the GoFundMe site. Thanks guys.
And someday that process will be the best process out there!Sorry, I emailed GoFundMe and Jon was the employee that responded to me. In other words, "it's a process."
I read this forum multiple times a day and didn't know about this. I would appreciate it if you don't excuse me, any many others, of not being part of the Rutgers family. You guys all deserve to lose your money. the flood defenders will continue to grasp at straws to try to discredit anything...its amazing. Everyone will get their money. By some fluke if anybody doesn't, the other benefit of using your Credit Card is that they will protect you.gee--you would think with all this sophisticated technical stuff that some on here brag about they would have sent refunds instantaneously
