TJ may or may not be the answer but solid OL/DL's are two areas we need to hit hard in the NIL transfer portal. All you need is a good QB who takes care of the ball and has a football IQ we don't need to spend 4-5 million on a QB better spent on OL/DL and even a stud RB.

Only problem Dylan wants 4 million maybe 5. Quite honestly good QB's are not that hard to find and not all of them demand 3, 4 or 5 million.

But Rhule is not paid through NIL money but I'm sure you already know this. I wish Nebraska had an unlimited budget for players and we didn't have to count on private donors but we do, and we don't have billionaire oilmen funding our NIL so we are limited in what we spend.

I agree. And when I said TJ is not the answer all I mean is that he is still unproven and untested. His play against USC does not count since he was just tossed into the game without prep. He played well against UCLA, but so did everyone. They are awful. Against PSU and Iowa he was playing in an offense hamstrung by a historically bad defense, putting them into awful situations. He was also injured against Iowa early. So who knows what his ceiling is?? Nobody. Therefore, we need a portal QB who could be a starter.

Agreed, I just don't want a ton of money spent on just one player (QB) I want it spent on a group of players where it's really needed, OL/DL and yes one RB who is durable and can function in what ever offense we run. It's time Nebraska got back to it's roots of being a hard smash in the mouth bunch up front on both sides of the lines, the QB position will take care of it's self I believe.

Why do these athletes go to school? They are not amateur athletes anymore they should be subsidized by the pro teams similar to the wnba. I don’t want chiles but if Nebraska gets him it should be for pennies

Agreed on all this. I expect them to get Chiles on the cheap. He could open the door to get Frasier and Marsh Rb and Wr from MSU.
