Latham’s KM defenses used to get lit up when he was DC especially on 3rd and long. We aren’t going back to those days.
Only way they gone meet again is if they get put on the same side of the bracket before the western finals.

Congratulations to the Mounties. They were the better team. SP played hard but, KM OL and defense were extremely good. Still proud of the Raiders.
How do you feel about it? Crest scored 13 34 13 and 13. Were they just supposed to quit ? We’re the backups supposed to just not play?
Here’s a novel idea. Maybe NG could field a varsity football team and put up some sort of a fight.

NOGA ran the ball down Crest throat and actually lead this game 6-0. Then the started pass which was a horrible idea.

I see where you are going. It depends what side of the bracket that Dudley falls on. Dudley matches up better with SP than KM. Dudley is not the same team in trenches as last years Panther team. Dudley’s o and d lines last year were all star caliber across the board. They aren’t that this season. Dudley will have to come to KM this year if they meet in playoffs. I think SP, KM, and Crest aren’t good matchups for EL. The danger for everyone is catching a team like West Charlotte, West Meck, etc in a early round game or Lord forbid going up to the mountains in November for a playoff game for the flat land teams lol.

No they actually will be a bad match up for either team and what makes it so bad is KM or SP may have to face them early. Their defensive front 7 is still really good and every corner/safety on the team is at least 6ft and athletic so those occasional passes won’t work. West Charlotte is a sneaky team that’s barely getting attention. They have the hardest schedule out of everyone.
I agree that WC is a sneaky good team with a lot of athletes. I’ve seen Dudley on film recently and they are nothing like last year’s team in the trenches. Last year their d-line couldn’t really be moved. KM moved the ball decently against a great Dudley defense last year. I hope we get the opportunity to matchup with Dudley again. Last year I knew they were the better team top to bottom. Not this year. I definitely think the state champ will come out of the West. “To be the man you have to beat the man”.
Should be an exciting playoffs, I’m looking forward to it.

I would like to congratulate not only the KM football team but also the KM live-stream team. Their live stream crew did a top notch job. The only thing missing was replay and zoom-in ability. The NCHSAA probably doesn’t allow replay.
