People do realize there were 3 drops don't they? 8-12 looks way better than 5-12, although having said that, yes, he threw some bad balls, and needs to improve his accuracy, but his running ability is a big part of why KM is running so well, since the defense has to account for GW. Also, his decision-making (on runs and throwing balls away) have been quite good (the MSU pick 6 was Jackson's fault, not Gavin's, while the WI pick 6 was all on Gavin - it happens). Simon might be a better passer, but our running game will suffer if he is in and our running game is largely why we're 6-2 and bowl bound for the first time in 9 years. GW has also thrown a bunch of beautiful throws, too, so it's not like he can't make the throws - he's just inconsistent.
