Interesting question: IF this is true, do you think UK would allow him to resign/fire him had he actually turned the program around and had UK on the way to respectability?

Just curious.

Even if he was 12-0 doubt they could allow University policies to be ignored or violated.

Stoops is not the boss. He is also and employee. Employee to employee relations happen all the time. The real issue is that someone can sue for sexual harassmenteven after willingly having a relationship with someone else.
If it was a team assistant that he knocked up, he is absolutely the boss. Head football coach = boss of the football program.

Hes posted scoops from practices that turned out to be true. I think hes credible, at least more than most Any way.
Not saying he isn't, but I never read anything he posted that was any different than what was already put there. Seems he is always late to the party. He may be credibke, just never seen much proof of that.

I have to wonder why anyone wants a head coach that blatantly cheated at other schools including bigger programs than UK

Kiffin cheated at UT and reportly at USC (why he was fired on the Tarmac)

Butch Davis Cheated his arse off at Miami and UNC. Those guys would be cheating before the ink dried on the paper.

Schiano and Brohm would both be good choices but I'm guessing Neil Brown is the next head coach at UK. I think next year. Remember, he was hired as OC before Stoops was hired as head coach.

Butch Davis didn't cheat at Miami, and there wasn't any allegations he did. He actually got Miami coming off probation and was under a microscope there. That's just dumb to say he cheated there.

As for UNC, he was cleared of wrongdoing. Similar to Calipari.

I heard earlier this week that UK had contacted Willie Taggart twice but didn't really think anything of it at the time. I kinda of passed it off as just another rumor but maybe it has legs.
BTW I debated rather to post this or not for a couple days but now seems to be as good a time as any .

Its a risky story to publish. You have a lot more to lose than gain in a situation like this by posting false/inaccurate/no proof or source news. If it was a Nick Saban or Calipari type coach, some may be willing to take the chance. But not for a UK football coach.

Is it possible that Stoops gets suspended with pay until this all gets figured out/finalized?

He was just a guest on SiriuxXM College Football a bit ago.

He said he's hearing that if UK loses to South Carolina tomorrow, UK might pull the trigger on Mark Stoops.

Haney was originally asked by the hosts (Geno Torretta was one of them) if either Les Miles or Gus Malzan could be fired during the regular season, and he said "no I don't either will be" but then went on to say what he did about UK and Stoops.

Hard to take him serious if he thinks Malzahn and Miles keep their jobs. Malzahn is 3-12 in his last 15 games against Power Five opponents. One of those was us last year. For comparison KY is 4-14 in their last 18 games against Power Five opponents. And LSU tried to fire Miles last year, and they've underperformed this year.

Says the person who doesnt think Stoops is a boss and has control of who is hired on the staff. You are a complete joke and your grasping at straws to defend Stoops just adds to your embarrassment

and yes we dont know if the rumors are true... but thats not your argument.. you are arguing on a what if it was true basis.
No my argument is to not throw stuff out there that may not be true. You can call me joke all you want. The fact I don't take joy in tearing down other people and adding to crap that destroys people's lives doesn't mean that I am trying to defend anyone.

Say this rumor isn't true, or hell, even if it is, the man has a family and people should respect them as well. If it isn't true, then you are slandering a man and his reputation. So again, I choose to wait until the evidence is there.

Many people aren't taking into consideration the family aspect of this ordeal. I hope the rumors aren't true.

He never said either guy keeps their job.

He said he didn't believe either Miles or Malzahn gets fired during the season just like my original post said. Learn to read.

Well, if Stoops is fired, I would hope they at least consider Jeff Brohm.

Yes, when he was still at Memphis. And, as YOU KNOW, he has said many times that he was wrong. And that is why he is leery of doing that again to some other coach.

And again, YOU already know this.
He actually said he was jealous. He assassinated another mans character and made up lies because he was jealous.

My point is about his credibility.

Well thats a pretty naive opinion. These women would just about have to do whatever to keep their jobs in some work places. Lots of executives are power drunk

Yeah, because women are never the agressors. Again, I choose to wait for the proof to come out.
