Bob Weir, guitarist, singer and founding member of the Grateful Dead, has died at 78. Weir’s death was announced Saturday in a statement on his Instagram page.

I used to hitchhike back home some Fridays while in school. i remember stopping by a record store on S O Ave and buying American Beauty. I was a fan but not a Dead Head like many of my bros. But the song Box of Rain, man, they hit that one into orbit. I dont know who put it there. Believe it if you need it, or leave it if you dare.
