I love when Archer posts. So everyone knows, he could coach our team to a title. And also so everyone knows, anything less than an NC is a failure.

DSouthr is writing a book over at THR on why we're going to have issues this year. Bummer. Guess it's going to be another re-building year.

Unfortunately I have to agree here. UNC did have an excellent year. I think what some meant by failure is the fact that this was UNC's year to do it. They haven't won in 7+ years and I dont see them winning this year or for the foreseeable future the big one. However, this was a couple poor posts in a row trying to convey that message.
Luckily over at THR, your brethren are picking up the stupidity right where they left off. Reading DSouth's lectures on how many problems we'll have next year b/c of TOO MUCH TALENT are pure gold. But i'll give you this one.
It was a failed year for UNC '16 per the outrageous comment from Roy last year preseason..He made a statement "I'm not going to jump off Smith Center if we don't win it all."
Ol Roy was trying to play the "aw shucks, naner puddin game" with us and make us think it really wouldn't pain him so badly....That statement told me volumes in terms of how much it meant to him, how loaded he knew they were, etc, etc....
To top matters off, they then played stall ball with an NCAA investigation. It insured the jaugernaut could make it to the mountaintop
only to have karma bite them in the rear...

Exactly, that was the message i think those other guys meant to convey but were not able too.
They don't write books. Their tutors do it for them.
I actually think Dsouthr is a pretty good fiction writer. Everything he's written so far takes a hell of an imagination.
The fact they actually think their starting 5 will be better than any 5 we put on the floor at any given time next year is comical. Apparently they forgot they lost their 2 best players and we added 4 top recruits in a loaded class with a slew of top level returning talent
They really are banking on getting carter and Bamba next class and DSouthr explains why it looks good to become reality. Ha. His posts are so long though that the threads over there take forever to get through.

For the most part yes which means Roy will go hard but not too hard because subconsciously he doesn't want to be a OAD program. He really wants just one every now and again. If one ever decides to go to UNC that will be the one he really wanted. Quite honorable
Timo I am not sure if you are agreeing with him by calling me and others stupid but is doesn't sound very supportive. I would hope not as you are a leader of our forum now and I think possibly you could choose your words more carefully in supporting us against a trolling UNC fan. If this wasn't your intent then please forgive me.
Before this past playing season started many here said anything less than a National Championship for the Cheats would be considered a failure due to the self imposed hype piled on by the Holes and by the media. I think it was steat or archer2 who recently said the same thing about Duke in that anything less than an NC would be considered a failed season. I delighted in watching UNC lose the championship game after playing an excellent season and probably most of us thought a trophy for the Holes was all but assured. When I used the word "failure" I was saying thank you to them.

Not sure if he tide is turning over there at all, but there is definitely more resistance to the delusion train lead by Gary, DSouth, ChapleHeeled (arguably my favorite for most entertaining), Archer etc.
I read that also and lol'd since Carter is an academic sort. If Carter is into an education then he will definitely not go to UNC because of the recent scandals.
THR can go to hell. Their whole institution sucks.
Yes it is. I logout and go check out THR whenever I get bored and need entertainment or a good laugh.

I'm sure he reads the boards also so I am sure he has seen what the fans have said about him since he chose DUKE. Some of the things I read are down right disgusting! I don't think he would want to switch now and go there but one never knows???
THR quotes are funny but I find most of the posters on Rupp Rafters very sick and demented with their posts. I have read some posts on RR before that are just plain disturbing and nowhere near funny. They need serious help if they take the game of basketball that seriously.
