FINALLY…Tarboro vs. Murphy for the ship…who ya got?

Dang i wasn’t expecting all these lopsided predictions. In my mind im thinking Tarboro vs. Murphy should be a close game. Calpreps only has it as a one score game (31-24)…still think there’s some sandbagging going on.

Great points! These guys have their poker faces on, but I'm not buying it. The boys in purple are going to have their work cut out for them on Saturday.

Not going to sandbag, the Bulldogs are a good football team, whether they are good enough remains to be seen. Have not saw the Vikings play, but I am well aware of how good they are. Any other opponent I would be very confident, gonna keep it low-key for now

This Tarboro team is talented, very talented, and they know it. I don't think it'll be an issue but a concern for extremely gifted teams can be that they sleepwalk at times because they are so talented. Again, I don't think it'll be an issue, but we are going to have to bring our best game. I know we are going to get Murphy's best shot, so we have to be prepared for a long, hard, physical game.

I don’t think Tarboro will have a big crowd in attendance. A ton of fans are complaining about the travel lol. Most have become spoiled

I remember you texting me during the JV RmSh game telling me how elite he was. Man, it has been a fast four years. As you’ve said, he’s been a joy to watch

Facts. Idc if I had to travel to another state to watch them. I’m not missing my son’s state championship! Come to think of it. We’ll be the first father son to have to state championship in Tarboro history lol

Wow, I didn't realize that. I figured someone on the 84 team has had kids play from 09 till now.

I still remember him playing for the lil Warriors. All those guys were bound to be special! The ones that played for the Lil Vikings also. When I 1st seen Buff I was like who is this fast a** kid that keeps scoring lol. Caiden also. Those kids were crazy good back then also

My brain still has a hard time accepting that this video isn’t sped up and at normal speed. He has jets on his feet.

He does a lot of good things well. He didn't even play against Havelock and I remember thinking that it may would hurt us. My dad is probably his biggest fan. He loves him lol. He's always wanting him to get more touches, and I get it, because usually when he touches it, he has success.

If not for the fumble at the goal line and the penalty that gave Murphy a first down in Starmount territory they may not have scored. However on a nice field they may be able to pass the ball some. I still think Tarboro 28 or 35-7 if they're as good as advertised.

I'm just basing my prediction off the past game and years past when Tarboro faced Mt Airy. In my opinion Starmount was 7-14 points better than Murphy and I didn't feel Starmount had a chance at all against Tarboro. I also base it on previous championship games when Tarboro faced Mt Airy. Murphy nor Starmount is anywhere close to being as good as those Mt Airy teams that faced Tarboro and Tarboro kept the game respectable. I know certain matchups can really throw a curveball to predictions but I don't see it.

It’s the SMC though…….i still remember this post after the Mount Airy game in 2023 and we have 2 of the 3 RBs from that offense that would get ate up. IMG_7457.jpeg

Also can’t forget this gem….a lot of these seniors were contributing sophomores on that team. I’m sure they still remember all of the clowning they received online after that game. IMG_7458.jpeg

Tarboro has begun to fall 😂😂😂🤣. Wonder what that guy thinks now. It's funny cuz how many teams have tried to replicate what Mount airy did defensively since that game? And none of them have come even close.
