Think we get a comfortable win and that Budd Clark gets compared to everyone from John Stockton, to Isiah Thomas, to Tiny Archibald. These first few games are not even cupcakes city - they are marshmallow soft. This is the season of redemption and the goal should be blowouts in this early one’s.

Sigh, I am amazed at how few know how easy it is to find this information.

The Athletic Department has an entire website devoted to divulging information like this -- not to mention it's in so many threads.

And yes, ESPN+ is streaming only although I'm sure you could stream it through your smart TV.

Purchase this. Do it today while the deal lasts. I believe it is over after today. All games are included on this with the obvious exception of the later Peacock games. Your welcome.

Hines certainly got the crowd going with some mammoth blocks, but I would say the main emotion in the building was relief. We looked better tonight than we did at any point last season. It was a relief.

Was not at the game but watched on ESPN+. I felt the same way: Relief, but also as the game went on, encouragement.

First half was definitely "relief" when we pulled away late to extend the lead (also helping me cover the first half line, lol). Also tears of joy at going 18/23 from the line.

Second half was encouragement that we extended that lead further and actually looked like a team that knew how to play basketball.

Also thoughts the refs let us get away with a lot on the press, which was helpful against a team we were physically superior to across the board. If we press all year, it will be interesting to see how that plays out from a foul perspective. Even if the first half, when they got us near the double bonus a bit after the under 5:00 mark, I thought they were really letting us get after the St. Peter's kids in the backcourt.

It was a very physical game for both teams. Before the 10 minute mark in the first half both teams were already in the bonus. Not much different in the second half.

Regarding the Pirates, there was a lot of reaching and depending on the refs that might be an issue in certain games. Fortunately we have a decent bench.
