But it's a quality 1-15...We got people defending a guy that's 1-15 against P4 competition. How pathetic is that

Winnable game. That’s cute. It won’t be more winnable than this game was.Mizzou is down to 3rs string qb now so that is a very winnable game.
But this is 3 SEC games we have now found a way to lose and Lebby has looked in confident and his team has followed suit.
You would think a 6th year qb would help, but he has issues late (some caused by our OT getting roasted on closing drives)
As long as we are getting better. We have already doubled our win total from last year. How long can you play the "but we are better" card?
Which is a HELL of a lot better than last year.4-1-3.
4 wins
1 loss
3 morale victories
ExtremelyWe got people defending a guy that's 1-15 against P4 competition. How pathetic is that
But it worked for our DC. Maybe hire 2 former head coaches. Lots are getting fired this year. Hire 2 of them to teach Lenny like hustler is being taught. **How sad is it that fans are forced to suggest hiring a head coach to help our head coach?
17.
Why are we even measuring against last year? Thats one of the worst seasons we've ever had. That season shouldnt even be thought ofWhich is a HELL of a lot better than last year.
Because this isn't anything like that one. If it was you idiots would be correct. Why are we even measuring against last year? Thats one of the worst seasons we've ever had. That season shouldnt even be thought of
Ok. Do you realize that we are so damn close to being 7-1?
Just stop. I like you, dude, but you are embarrassing yourself now with this repeated defense of the indefensible. Winners don't lose the way we do on a regular basis. Winners don't lose multiple games as a direct result of stupid play-calling/clock management and having so many truly stupid players killing their team again & again! As long as we are getting better. We have already doubled our win total from last year.
So… what you’re saying is “if you can’t see we’re better, you’re blind”?What about the fact that we were 2-10 last year?
Is losing like this not a marked improvement over 2024?
I mean we are clearly better. Only someone who didn’t watch last year (and I wouldn’t blame them if they didn’t) would say otherwise. So… what you’re saying is “if you can’t see we’re better, you’re blind”?
Oh my God, go take a nap grandpa. That song is overplayed. As long as we are getting better. We have already doubled our win total from last year.
We have very different definitions of “a HELL of a lot better”.Which is a HELL of a lot better than last year.
The eternal optimist in me points to Clark Lea but even he won 2 I. His second sec slate. What about the fact that we were 2-10 last year?
Is losing like this not a marked improvement over 2024?
We have to hope for that because we can’t be searching for a coach again. We literally might kill the program for real. The eternal optimist in me points to Clark Lea but even he won 2 I. His second sec slate.
Lololol….is there? 45 points on the scoreboard for one of the most comically bad offenses in college football. I’d say that proves otherwise. They were averaging 17 points per game against the P4 coming into tonight. How much should we be considering the fact everyone calling for his head was calling for Hutzler’s he’d last year? I mean, there is so much crow to eat there.
17 that. I’ll eat crow if/when Lebby wins a conference game. How much should we be considering the fact everyone calling for his head was calling for Hutzler’s he’d last year? I mean, there is so much crow to eat there.
I think you’re safe.17 that. I’ll eat crow if/when Lebby wins a conference game.
You are the grandpa in attitude. You are the epitome of poor old MSU.Oh my God, go take a nap grandpa. That song is overplayed.
Exactly. We have to hope for that because we can’t be searching for a coach again. We literally might kill the program for real.
Hmmmm! Certain key coaches have more ability (larger amounts of money in their hands and direct influence on every play) to gamble than the players. There, I said it.I'm just wondering if certain key players are throwing the game. Go look at the last series of downs in the 4th quarter and OT. In this day and age of NIL and gambling (large amounts of money in the hands of key players now with the ability to bet), I would not be surprised. I have been to every home game this season and cannot believe coaching put us in these positions to lose. There, I said it. I have had more than one person texting me stating the same. I hope I can return to some form of normalcy by morning.
We had more QB pressure tonight than all of last season combined. The defense looks a lot better, no question.Lololol….is there? 45 points on the scoreboard for one of the most comically bad offenses in college football. I’d say that proves otherwise. They were averaging 17 points per game against the P4 coming into tonight.
If I suddenly started sunshine pumping, it wouldn’t suddenly make Lebby a better coach. You are the grandpa in attitude. You are the epitome of poor old MSU.
NopeWhat about the fact that we were 2-10 last year?
Is losing like this not a marked improvement over 2024?
Until we’re notHow long can you play the "but we are better" card?
No sunshine pumping involved. It's cold eyed reason. We ARE a lot better than we were last year. Anyone that won't acknowledge that does not have MSU's best interests at heart. If I suddenly started sunshine pumping, it wouldn’t suddenly make Lebby a better coach.
Then you are blind, and make judgements based on emotion.Nope
I did not defend croom. Not that he wasn't a qualified coach but just not what was truly needed. Now we just hired an OC for HC not that he was qualified this is what we get. He just blows....We defended Sylvester Croom
I still watched this guy lose to Maine, so he was defended.
How long do we go on scraping the bottom of the barrel?
You’re claiming the fourth quarter melt down and Blowing a 17 point lead is due to a talent deficit ?Some of this may PO some of you, but so be it:
1) We have a talent deficit, and especially a depth deficit, which shows itself greatly if the 4th quarter. The players are playing the hearts out to the point of total exhaustion.
2) The 2 out of bounds TDs for TX were questionable to me but those who expect equal treatment from the refs and the SEC can forget it. This is about money, and we don't have near enough.
3) It is difficult to get enough good talent at MSU mainly because of Starkville. Starkville has improved in the last 15 to 20 years, but not nearly enough. Most good players won't even give MSU consideration because of Starkville. Starkville ought to be a showplace, but instead it is equal or inferior to nearby towns with much less State, federal, and private expenditures.
4) I have my doubts about Lebby, but I wonder if any coach we could get to come to Starkville would do any better. We are better than last year, which is an incredibly low bar, but we are competitive. Lebby is probably going to get next season to turn this around, as I think he should. If he doesn't he has to go.
5) Remind yourself that Keenum will ultimately be making the the hire. He also hired Cohen and Moorhead and Lebby. So there is not a good track record of making good hires.
6) The NBA gambling scandal has lots of tentacles, according to what I have read. College athletics is in the crosshairs and it will be interesting to see how that shakes out.
We’re giving up 35 points per game in SEC play. We got pressure against the biggest laughing stock of a QB in all of college football because he holds the ball too long. And he still picked us apart. Had a career day against us after sucking nine kinds of asś all season…..because of course he did. Nobody would have thought before the season that you could apply the RAT theory to Arch Manning….but you can, and he certainly was the RAT tonight. We had more QB pressure tonight than all of last season combined. The defense looks a lot better, no question.
No you just don't get the reality of what is being seen and done. Lebby can't win one damn SEC game in two years but we need give him more time. His offense disappears way too much to even think he's ready for an SEC HC gig. Let's just continue to let him learn on the job. That's what true SEC schools do***Then you are blind, and make judgements based on emotion.
