You expect me to somehow disprove that someone predicted something? You're the one making ludicrous claims without evidence (mo one ever predicted that). I don't need to change your mind, just point out to the rest reading this that there is no basis to what you said and without some citation to such projections existing, your ravings should be ignored.

What about North Korea. We don't know what's really going on in there. So, what dangers do they pose to the rest of the World via this virus?

The Hermit Kingdom puts fewer asses in international flights than anyone. Unfortunately, most who fly from there are already loaded down with poisons to kill ex-pats.

The article I read was talking about how there is a very porous border away from the DMZ. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti...icial-virus-tally-zero-experts-aren-t-so-sure

-While there is little chance of the virus crossing the fenced-off, heavily militarized border with South Korea, the 880-mile (1,420-kilometer) border with China is porous, and the black-market traders who have crossed for years from both sides could be a source bringing the virus into North Korea. The case count in the two biggest Chinese provinces bordering North Korea -- Liaoning and Jilin -- have been relatively low so far at about 225 total as of last week, according to the World Health Organization

(1) We’ll never know for sure, as they will never tell the truth;
(2) They never carried 1/10th their weight in international travel from the HK, or any other economic activity;
(3) What little travel they do is into China, and for better or worse, the Chinese can have them.

What is the number of lives we’ve saved? The disease isn’t going away, we’re all going to be exposed in the next year.
Are you willing to go through an economic crash every time a pandemic comes forward, especially one that isn’t particularly dangerous to 98-99% of the population.

I wasn’t trying to judge anyone in my post just asking an honest question that I think a lot of governments are going to have to grapple with.

In a couple of ways it reminds me of Chinese agriculture. If they modernize ag there they could put 15% of the worlds population out of work so they stick with antiquated techniques.

Flaws in a great many systems are being exposed. Hard to think we have the political will or unity to solve many of them.

I’m not sure where to start with him. The use of his non profits to fund terroristic migration in Europe and America that have increased rape and murder exponentially. Sweden says hello. To buying global elections.

Oh and the fact is that he is Jewish who worked with the Nazis against his own people
He also funded BLM, Antifa, he funds anything that will cause domestic terrorism. The system (capitalism) made it possible for him to become rich, now he uses that wealth to try and destroy that very system. He is a despicable person. Lowere than whale ****, and that is on bottom of the sea.

CORONAVIRUSCA MAN DIES AT 34Recently Visited Disney World In FL
3/19/2020 11:25 AM PT

EXCLUSIVE
A 34-year-old man has died in California after testing positive of coronavirus just days ago, and 2 weeks after visiting Walt Disney World and Universal Studios in Florida ... TMZ has learned.

Jeffrey Ghazarian died Thursday morning at a Pasadena hospital after spending 5 days hooked up to a ventilator and battling for his life ... according to his family.

His sister says ... "He suffered a lot and put up a good fight. We will miss our Jeff everyday but we are thankful for all the fun happy memories of the times we had together."

Jeff's timeline regarding his COVID-19 infection is terrifying and should be eye-opening for people of all ages. According to his family, he flew from L.A. to Orlando on March 2 for a work conference, but stayed a few extra days to visit Disney World and Universal theme parks with friends.

We're told on March 7 he developed a cough, and the next day he coughed up blood. He flew back to LAX on March 9 ... and immediately went to the ER, where he also had a high fever.

The family says a chest x-ray confirmed Jeff had pneumonia, and he was tested for COVID-19 and sent home with fluids and antibiotics and instructed to self-quarantine until he got the results back.

We're told the results came back positive on March 13, and Jeff was provided a portable oxygen meter to keep an eye on his levels ... which took a turn for the worse that afternoon.

On March 14 he was taken by ambulance to the hospital and quickly transferred to the ICU when it was discovered his lungs were 60-70 percent blocked with pneumonia. Doctors decided the best path forward was to sedate and intubate, hoping a ventilator would help his lungs heal.

Sadly -- and despite the family claiming he was approved for antiviral meds -- the medication was delayed in getting to him, he took a turn for the worse ... and passed away Thursday morning.

It appears Jeffrey was higher-risk patient. He had a history of asthma and frequent bronchitis as a child, though he outgrew that. He also had undergone surgery for testicular cancer back in 2016.

The CDC now says young people can also be at grave risk ... and this underscores the danger.

He was 34.

RIP

Do your own research. You won’t find it on any of the left wing media tho.

Folks, when someone makes a claim and refuses to back it up with evidence, you can be pretty confident they're full of it. Passing the buck to you to "do your own research" just means that even if you can't find evidence of it, they just blame you for not researching properly - and it's impossible to PROVE that someone never said something. An evasive tactic from someone who knows they're full of it and has nothing to back up their bs.

A 2nd dog in Hong Kong has Corona Virus, got it from his infected owner. Keep track of where your dogs are when you are at the park, etc.

I have not bothered to look for it. But I remember different scientists Al Gore trotted out saying Miami would be under water before 2020, or something like that. And that was back in the 90’s, I believe.

So much for people trying to say only the elderly are at risk. sucks for that guy... he was coughing up blood , had pneumonia and they sent him home to self quarantine? Good god....that hospital basically signed his death warrant. poor guy.

I dont know if it was gore... but I do remember hearing some global warming people predicting that ..

Al Gore definitely played loose with the science to make predictions based on some models' worst case scenarios, and had even been called out by scientists he'd cited for misrepresenting their work. But the point of this was whether to believe scientists, not about whether to believe pundits. Two problems are one, that one individual model's worst case gets reported on and people view it as "what scientists are predicting." Another problem is that scientists will say "we only have 10 years to act to limit warming to 2 degrees C" and it gets reported on as "10 years to prevent global warming." Then we miss that target and "we only have 10 years to act to limit warming to 2.5 degrees C" and it gets reported on as "10 years to prevent global warming." And people think wait, they said the same thing 10 years ago! When the actual scientists didn't say the same, simplified thing each time.

Literally fake news. This is not a real cover.

https://apnews.com/afs:Content:5755221200
It may be a fake cover...don't know...but I know for a fact that Time, Newsweek, etc. had many articles regarding a coming ice age back in the 70s. My dad was an executive for Readers Digest and one of the perks was that we got just about any magazine we wanted for free. So needless to say we had a ton of magazines. I remember many a magazine...legitimate magazines...with those articles and screaming headlines. And...it was media..but it was also scientists who were interviewed for the articles.

Ah, the good old gish gallop. Throw so much bs up at the wall that nobody can possibly go through it all to refute it. Most of their links are broken but almost every case that you can tell what they're talking about refer to media reports, pundits, or some individual scientist's model or prediction - not a general consensus conclusion based on robust investigation by numerous scientists and teams across the world.

Here's a bit of wisdom for the "global cooling" nonsense peddlers - there was never a scientific MAJORITY, let alone consensus, that there was an approaching ice age. Global cooling advocates in the 70s agreed that human activity can affect climate and that greenhouse gas emissions have a warming effect, but argued that the impact of particulate pollution would outweigh it by its reflective effect on incoming solar radiation. Scientific investigation and debate continued and the cooling hypothesis died out for lack of evidence and justification. That's science working as it should. If you see hysterical punditry and media reporting and think it means science can't be trusted (in any case, since apparently global warming means we don't need to fear the coronavirus?), you're beyond help.
