I said the same thing about 5 or so minutes into the half. It doesn’t matter who wins this was bad. We won Yay!!! But any common sense is this team is not getting it better from game to game.

0-18 from 3. Barely scored 50.
If I had to stretch to find something to be positive about it’s finally that Hines got time.
Fortunately we played a team who just didn’t want to win the game. The Hoyas had plenty of chances to seal the game. They just chose to shoot as bad as us. I don’t know where we go from here. There isn’t a player on this team who I trust to take a big shot. Only bright side that came out of this game is maybe Sha will finally play Hines more. Might as well. No way is he coming back next year. He will be in the portal the first day it opens. So just run him into the ground and let the chips fall where they may.
Carino will find a way to spin our offense in this one as being akin to the 2017 Warriors
Never easy, great defense, on the deflection by Fisher at the end of the game. Really nice game from Hines, 0-18 from 3 and somehow, we still won.
And I think the NCAA selection committee looks at that. Programs that play bad basketball don't get NCAA bids or get better. This is the new order to me.

So we went from really good to really bad in 2 months? You’re starting to sound like Kaz.
Watching Sha in one of those huddles getting in the face of one of the players was despicable.
And that means something. Unfortunately it probably won’t be NCAA Tournament meaningful.

Eye test says more than the results. Part of it could be result no continuity amongst the teams. We can only beat who we play but who we played has been really bad.
Yes but it’s not happening to them every game. They’ve been consistently scoring in the upper 70s and 80s. I think we would all turn a blind eye if it happened once every 6 games or so. It would also be more tolerable if we had wins over Illinois, Kentucky, Arkansas and UNC.
Anything can happen to any team at any time, it's overall that counts.
One is the 4th most efficient offense; the other is the 187th most efficient offense.
That’s the good half of the team. Actually these days it’s more like 55-45 or 60-40 offense.
