Impressive battle. Offense needs some fine tuning. But a solid win by a solid team.
Gritty win. Nice last possession by Clark to make it a 2 possession game. Better FT shooting and it would have been a more comfortable win

like has been said, we shot fts poorly. BUT, when we desparately needed a point or two, Steph goes 2 for 2. 2 huge points.
The Pirates did it again...only gave up 2 runs. The first a 10-0 run stopped by Budd,
putting us back up by 1.
The second an 8-0 run...once again stopped by Budd assisting a basket by Payne.
You win or lose by runs..so far so good by the Hall.

You don't have to be a genius to note as we have been noting all season long...the key to this year is winning the nail biters. There are going to be a slew of close games where coming out on the winning side will dictate how successful the Pirates will be.
So far we have had two such games and we're 1-1 and really only a couple of bad whistles from being 2-0.
