Why wasnt anyone flashing to the foul line against the zone? I was wondering when a team would go zone against us because we do not shoot the three well. McCray needs to flash to the foul line against the zone. Take the shot or pass it to the wings to create space.
But give credit to Nova. Their guards killed our guards. As far as Clark goes, just a horrific night for him In all facets of the game.

Could’ve been AJ, Mike, fisher or TJ there. Heck even Parker when we went with him and Budd. Instead we ran the weave 30ft out

It was during warmups. It was not a focus with everyone watching unless you were looking for it.

I do think the KW video was unnecessary and a round of applause would have been sufficient

It was unnecessary to make the game about anything other than the seton hall guys being on the court. That being said I was relieved that it was blended into the pregame and short. A prior announcement and longer tribute video would’ve been pathetic

Willard is an excellent coach who brought our program back from the dead. If the university wants to honor him with a short video, I don't have a problem with it. His game plan last night was genius.

Give nova credit for having a better game plan that threw SHU off theirs. Learn from it and take it to the next game.

They have been fortunate that one or two guys step up every game. Not last night.

yup. and getting a shot in the post is not the only reason you pass to the post. use the whole court. make the defense move and think. and after getting used to seeing good movement, we were stagnant again last night, like we had been often in the ooc ganes

We really missed Bud last night. Nova's two freshman were excellent. That Hodge kid scored & set some really effective screens (many were illegal fwiw).

You’ve got Clark, Staton-McCray, and Hines basically not playing a half.

We had a horrific shooting day.

What was alarming was how confused we looked.

Willard had a better gameplan. Go zone, take away the paint scoring and force us to shoot 3s, which we dont do well. Our weakness showed...no backup pg, struggle in halfcourt when we cant get turnovers, not moving the defense with more inside/outside play. Budd reverted back to driving way too deep amd getting caught. Hes got the pull up all day.
