We desperately need Leavitt, Young, and Jackson to get here and get to work and try and get on the field early.

Just set a record of liking 5 Oline post in less than 5 secs. I did that faster than Charlotte is getting in our backfield. Didn't think that was possible. Our OLINE sucks

i liked the way Barker is making an attempt to step up in the pocket when the pressure comes off the edge. when we actually have a line (in the future), that will pay off giving him more time to throw and let plays develop. its troubling watching a QB run away from the pocket at the first sign of trouble

Barker has more time because he does exactly what you said, steps up into the pocket.

They just said on the radio call that the crowd was pretty good to start but as soon as we made that last fg, lots of people got up to leave.

I like the freshman kicker.....Between McGuinness and this kid, we may not have to worry too much about FG's for the next 3-4 yrs.
my only concern is he cannot kick it into the endzone on kickoffs, in fact he is usually about 5-10 yards short... against good teams field position is too important to be giving 10 free yards every possession

Fabcat some may laugh at that comment, but I witnessed CSU lose at Air Force last year in some part due to wind. Only these were swirling, sometimes 75mph+ winds. It completely shut down CSU's prolific passing game last year, and the Zoomies who rely heavily on the running game won the game costing CSU a share of the MW title. In high winds the running game is the way to go. Not that Air Force wasn't a decent team, but it did matter.

That's Hugenin's first career sack, right? Somewhat of a sad stat, but congrats to the guy for 5 years of hard work paying off there

If we get Drew a good offensive line in the next couple of years we could take that "next step" that everyone wants.

He just kicked it through the endzone on after he made the FG. It could be that he's just a bit young yet.

16 completed passes and Baker has no receptions. Kid is a superstar in his own mind.

Our Oline can not give Barker enough time to do anything. With this group we are forced to throw short quick throws. That is tough on any play caller. Doesn't matter the down and distance. He has Zero time.

Man, that infuriates me more than anything. 3rd and long and throw short of the sticks. Looked like it was the called play also.
