Is that what they call Rock House somewhere around Burkesville/Cumberland River?
What’s the name and where is it?

Title gives this one away. Scariest drive in the state. Grooves on bridge can throw you. Speed limit is 25. I hit it doing 55 and that was a mistake.

Two pics of the same historic landmark.
1) What is it called?
2) Where is it located?
3) What body of water travels under it?

I know I've been across the Cairo Bridge a few times chasing Union Pacific steam engines when they go through that area.
Yeah, Cairo Bridge is in a class by itself in this state. Brookport is probably a little longer than Shawneetown which would be seventh behind the bridges over Kentucky Lake and Barkley.

Evansville and Owensboro are longer than I thought. Drive them so much they just seem shorter.

5,863 feet Cairo
5,395 feet Evansville
5,386 feet Brookport
4,623 feet Owensboro
3,805 feet Lake Barkley
3,611 feet KY Lake
3,200 feet Shawneetown

Not sure I should put twin bridges as they are one way.

K and I bridge is 5,746.

The first time I ever crossed it, I was on a motorcycle. It got my attention pretty quick.
One time I was crossing it and we were going about 8 mph. I was behind a box truck and couldn't see the hold up. There was a family of four and Grandma riding across on bicycles. Grandma was maybe 80. Her bike had three wheels and a basket. I can't imagine riding a bike on that surface. Or a motorcycle.

If it's scarier than the two bridges from Wickliffe,KY to Missouri then I never want to get on it! Those bridges are the reason I don't go to Lambert's very often!!!😂😂😂😂😂

It felt slick as snot. I came back to Paducah on the Metropolis I 24 bridge.

I can't recall ever being at that SP. Looks like a weekend road trip.
Carter Caves is nice, I’m from olive hill. In fact, much of the land was owned by my great grandmas family and sold to the state to make the park. I grew up on the other side of the hill (there’s no road) on my great grandpas farm

Used to hike CC trails often and play basketball with friends on their court. Good thing is, it’s rarely ever busy. On my hikes, I’d see more Japanese people that were traveling to parks than anyone. Cascade Cave is the nicest cave if you do a tour. Enjoy!
