Jeff Anderson and James Breeding were on that game. Two of the worst officials and both have rabbit ears. Davis was probably drinking and making a fool of himself, but I'm not surprised those guys tossed him. Probably an overreaction on their part.

you really have no clue how he was interreacting the whole game with these officials. Izzo's reaction says it all. You're correct, however , probably too many IPAs , hence the next day apology

These two officials have egos the size of the sun, but some of the stuff I hear at these games - including our own games - is embarrassing. Especially considering how many little kids are around. The student section probably gets a free pass, but I have no sympathy for a grown adult who can't control himself.
