I have no problems with the rule - however I do have some reservations about the QB from Eastern Washington going to Oregon. But for someone like Clint Trickett it was a way to get major playing time that he would never get at FSU.

Of course, the NCAA would be against this. It's the 1 thing that players have a little control and power. God forbid that happens. It's ok for coaches and administrators to bounce around school to school. No consequences, no sitting out, etc. But players should not be allowed. Are you kidding me? How about some of these coaches who suck but a few certain players made them look really good and they leave to a sexier job? I guess that's ok. But it's not ok for Player X to leave 1 school for another to improve his stock.

I absolutely hate the NCAA, it's a joke.

I have no problem with the grad rule.

I do have a problem with the undergrad rule. It is becoming too prevalent in college sports. There is too much opportunity to screw the system at no cost to the offender.

The quickest fix to the problem would be to let the sit-out year consume a year of eligibility. That would add a cost to those choosing to transfer and give the receiving one year of service for their efforts.
