Whenever I spoke to Jamir Harris he always told me that his younger brother was by far the best Harris in the family and he would be a D1 star.

That said, congratulations to the youngest Harris brother.

He's still got his senior year and then four collegiate seasons to go, so the book is a long way from closed. It'll be interesting to see how and if he develops.

We are going to see more and more of this. Using low and mid majors as minor leagues. Better to get minutes, develop and raise your value and cash in as a sophomore or junior. P5 schools are not going to heavily recruit this type of kid out of HS.

Heard Pecora talk about this re: Quinnpiac, and that’s basically his pitch. He also said they can possibly get HS kids out of prep they never would have been able to get in the past.

When you think about some of the guards Wrigbt and later Pecora had at Hofstra, no way they keep those kids through 4 years anymore.

A HS coach told me P5 coaches spend very little time watching HS games. They actually spend for time at D2 and D3.
