Chad..

There's be huge difference between losing 3 games in a row that on paper we should've of lost and all been underdogs in versus.... Not even looking remotely competitive, showing signs of major disorganization, having players look totally disinterested and doing almost a complete 180 in terms of competitive spirit in the last month.

Receivers aren't fighting to get open ( possibly bc they're tired of our QB over/underthrowing them), our QB has ZERO confidence and it's obvious there's some serious stinky **** lingering in the lockeroom.

This is more than just losing to SEC teams we should've lost to. There's much more to this borderline dumpster fire. Fuc% you! I'm a Kentucky fan not just a Kentucky Basketball fan. Stick to your preseason 3rd Team All Big 10 Basketball predictions and pop culture influenced takes. For all we know you probably cheer for Ohio St & the Greater Northern Kentucky/Metro Cincinnati Bengals more than UK football.

Let those who care about this football program, insane or as stupid as it is, provide their takes on the death spiral that is Kentucky Football. Tired of this ****. We are and should be better than the flea infested sloppy crap we've seen the 10 quarters.

Based on what should we even assume we show up on Sat? The moral is very low. Guys act like they don't give a damn. There has to be something a lot more than what any of us realize going on behind the scenes. That's what's extremely disturbing.

Expecting our offense to continue it's total ineptitude against a very good D while our defense gets worn out again.

Hope I'm wrong.

Damn man, sorry to hear that. Did you have a corneal ulcer with scarring? (post in the D if you want so you don't clog up GYERO)

It was a virus that ended up scarring my cornea...so much swelling, it split the insides of my eyelids...worst pain ever. Honestly would rather have two broken arms than have to deal with this again.

Yeah, I'm on steroids. Apparently I'll have to be for several months or more. The doctor said there might be some options for the scarring, but they won't know until everything clears up.

F you. Just because I've actually learned a thing or two about UK football the last 30 years while stupid bitches like you still don't get it doesn't mean I'm not a fan. Remember you preppy F***, I actually went to UK and attended every game in the student section while you were off networking in South Carolina.

Nope. You're not a fan. Doesn't make a difference either way to you. That's fine
but don't get all self righteous with UK football fans because we want more.

And, yes, I GET IT with Kentucky Football but that doesn't make it any less maddening or make me care any less.

I'm a bigger fan than you and an alum. Know more about UK sports. Have a much better grasp.

All I pointed out was that last year UK had gotten their asses kicked and been accused of giving up before coming back strong against Louisville. We're not done. Decent chance of 7 wins, outside chance at 8- both would be great seasons at UK. Of course I wouldn't expect a CoC man to get UK football.

Go root for the Cougs and leave the UK discussion to the UK men.

Ok, Chad. You're the one who clearly has a grasp on the way this team is trending. Anyone who knows the history of UK football & our current record/remaining schedule can say.. "Welp, if we beat Vandy, Charlotte, and UL we'll finish 7-5 & that's a very good finish for Stoops' 3rd team considering all of the circumstances." No **** that would be a good finish.

However, if you've attended or watched the games we've played in this year you could see many disturbing components that scream we are trending downward at a rapidly negative pace with each week the situation getting worse and worse. There are a ton of issues beyond the causal and indifferent fan's tally of our win/loss column. My wife could tell you 7-5 would be a success.

I'm not upset at the overall record but more at what's happened in between the hash marks the past 3 weeks. You just don't flick a switch and start playing well so I find it hard to believe all of a sudden all of the issue we've had in this losing streak are going to disappear against Vandy & we'll light up the scoreboard. Just like you don't go from playing decent football to a raging dumpster fire overnight.

And, yes, I get that our next 3 opponents are all worse than Miss St, UT, & UGA so maybe we will perform better. That being said there are some major issues going way beyond just "the opponents are better, learn UK football ". Kiss my ***. It's more complex than that. We've been totally embarrassed the last 3 weeks.

Towles has always been inconsistent but he literally looked like one of the WORST QB's in all of college football against UGA. We're talking Morgan Newton in 2012 against Florida type of ****. Our receivers don't fight to get open. They've given up. We have zero offensive identity. The O line is garbage and that's being disrespectful to garbage. Our best defensive players in Stamps, Hatcher and Flanningan have been almost non existent recently. There's without a doubt some major form of division in the lockeroom btw coaches, players and a mix of the two against each other.

This team is lost & the coaches have lost this group.

Don't ask for much when it comes to UK football. The older I've become the more I've come at peace with the program's limitations. I do ask that we don't spiral out of control down the stretch, play like a prepared team, and play with fire/emotion.

Don't lecture me on Kentucky Football, whether it's a pointless endeavor or not, just because I care.

Obviously I was messing with you a bit, but I still think we have a really good shot to take the last 2/3. That's my main point. Despite the last few weeks, all is not lost. Hang in there.

All good, bud.

Really frustrated and concerned that we finish 5-7 and lose all of the momentum with recruiting & overall fan interest.

In each of the last 3 games things have gotten really bad in the 2nd half. There's not a worse feeling on a fall Saturday than knowing your team doesn't have a chance. Hopeless. Dejected. Pissed off. Would be nice for a change to feel positive momentum coming down the stretch of a season and winning games in November.

There's way too much stake with how we finish & I'm nervous this season is beyond repair.

- WEEK AWAY from UK-Duke...can you believe it? We need to beat these pricks. It's been since 1998.

Next week will be the first UK-Duke game I've attended since '98 in St. Pete. I'm bringing good karma.

- Nelson, uk guy and other credit card reward freaks, did you guys get in on the Discover cash back crap?

We've got a couple of Discover cards and will occasionally make use of the 5% rotating categories, but it's not really an area of focus. Plus, I'm an android guy so didn't bother with the apple pay bonus thing.

Ritchie definitely went HAM on this squad... He's kinda right though. This was arguably our easiest schedule in God knows how long. We get THROTTLED by 3 unranked teams in a row. We don't look close to being the team that we wanted them to be right now.

I still hold out hope we can get to a bowl. And progress is progress. But next year looks pretty damn rough. Such is life for a BCS program that consistently struggles to get to the middle.

Rich and Chad both bring up good points. Gotta pull up our big blue panties and fight, but there are some serious red flags out there.

Yes we figured our record would be where it is, but the last 3 games are what we feared. We've been the doormat, wet ragdoll that the rest of the SEC is used to. Be competitive, stop making bone head mistakes, looking inept.

3 games left, gotta win 2. Or this season is a failure. That's where we are.

Go Cats.

Just beat Vandy. That's all this team needs to think about / concentrate on at the moment. Their asses are tightening up with every loss and every mishap. I don't care what Stoops or Towles say, no way I'm convinced Towles hasn't lost confidence based on how he has regressed more and more each of the last 3 games. He's got to be feeling pressure. I'm convinced if this group tries to turn this into a 3-game season, they'll simply choke. So just focus on Vandy, beat them, and then move to the next game.

That's why you switch to Barker. You can't play this will he/won't he play BS. Both QB's will play tight if you're wishy washy on the issue. Once the coaching staff opens up that door, then they have to step through it. You can't toss a 21 year old kid out there, who is struggling, and have him looking over his shoulder waiting to get the hook for the second string guy. Name Barker. Give him the ball. Re-assess on Sunday.

Well, it's official! Henpeck and I have some happy and cheerful but shocking news! WE ARE EXPECTING!!! A little over 7 weeks and counting. I know, I'm shocked too. We cant hardly believe it ourselves. We weren't going to post it, but since you're all our family & friends, We wanted to make it official. We're too overwhelmed to keep it a secret!!!! Who would have guessed that we... of all people would be expecting?! But we are!!! We're expecting Santa in just 7 weeks! The good o jolly guy !! Cant wait to give out the presents!
Copy and paste if you have a sense of humor. Let's see how many people read the whole status. I know everyone won't

latest practice update quotes Dawson as saying they "have a plan for the QB's " and Pat says he will "definitely play".

Whatever man, just win. But at some point we have to find out what we have in Barker. We know what Pat is and, frankly, he's never been that good. JRows stats on HOB are pretty telling. When you are UK football you can't win with a QB that throws more pics than TDs...and he does so by a significant margin against power 5 schools.

That's why it's so strange to me that we haven't seen Drew get any meaningful PT, you would think I defense first guy like stoops would have little stomach for the boneheaded sacks and pics.

So, either Drew just takes snaps in practice and craps down his leg or the staff is too conservative to make the move in season...now they are wishy washy about it. Very concerning imo. If you are going to play Drew at all, commit to it.

*If Drew Barker doesn't get snaps until Vanderbilt is up 13-0 I will lose my mind :chairshot:

*Fall is the best time of year to have a great lawn.

Drop a bag of Scotts Max Green Lawn....water three times a week and mow(bag) over your leaves on the weekend.

This is part of being a husband and family man so I thought? o_O

It is a delicate balance to engage the services of a quality landscaping contractor at a fair and affordable price, while at the same time avoiding psychopaths who will return at 2 am to murder you & your family with a weed wacker

My main concern with *Dawson's comments yesterday* was that Towles and Barker split practice reps 50/50 all year. WHY?

Towns with 19p, 13r & 3b last night, averaging 16p, 10r, 3b on the season. What's this kid's ceiling? Can he be Boogie-level in a few years, a legit Top 10 NBA player?
