False. You're honestly a dumbass if that's your take on this. He was already the coach here when we agreed to those terms. It was his second restructuring in six months.

The history of UK football is a sad one but don't make it out like it's that bad of a job. Our requirements are pretty f'king simple. No one is demanding championships, win 2-4 SEC games a year, beat UofL 50% of the time of the time, and stay off probation and you're golden, That's it, that's the list.

Would you on a 3rd date start making wedding plans because you had a good time that night? Wouldn't it be wiser and more prudent to say "I want to keep seeing you" and let it play out for awhile, you know get to know them better before you lock yourself into something long and painful. Mitch acted like a desperate psycho who "just has to have somebody".

There is a lot of misremembering about Hal Mumme Pass. It's was only done because UL had Ron Cooper as coach. And it wasn't like it was an official name change. Just a janky *** sign on a light post.

Dammit, 73, you mentioned that DoTerra oil crap and no less than 3 hens on my Facebook are now discussing / selling it. I don't get how anyone believes this stuff. Like I said, I dab peppermint oil under my nose when I have a bad cold / sinus infection, but I could dab menthol for that matter, peppermint just smells better. It's something that has a proven effect and the little bottle I have will likely last a lifetime. I can't imagine paying what some of these fools do, putting it in a diffuser, and thinking that lavender is going to calm a room of rowdy children. SMDH.

1. Home game.
2. Louisville won't get away with their hack/grab BS in Rupp.
3. They looked good against Michigan St. b/c they play similar styles and crap/hack Defense. Plus that was a revenge game for Louisville.
4. Ulis and Lee will be healthy.
5. Briscoe and Murray will continue to grow.
6. Calipari OWNS Pitino.
7. Also whores.

Works for me. I think Skal is a complete ***** in that game, though.

Shame on Eli and Mitch for not finding a coach that can win with one of the worst programs in the country in the most difficult conference for a bargain price that doesn't require contact extensions for recruiting purposes. Lol. K.

With apologies to anth735 when you run an enterprise with a $100M annual budget you will get scrutinized and its ok to debate annually that individuals performance. We post on a message board daily about his products, he is the CEO. Thats it. Sure he is a nice enough guy. I do think we could do better. My 2 cents.

<--- ate much better than docx tnight no doubt. Kumamoto oysters to the med rare filet in the gaslamp S D.

Antonio brown is not human.

- Wife got a Groupon to do the Lights over Louisville MegaCavern deal. We went last night at 730pm. There was a 30 minute wait in the parking lot, where you had to sit with the engine off, and wait for your row to clear. Ummmm, FALSE. Last thing I want to do is sit in a damn parking lot surrounded by a bunch of other minivans and wild kids. So we bailed. Kids were upset, so we got ice cream. Win.

- DeVante Parker...go Ballard!

- Mitch Barnhart does ok. He's not great, but he's not terrible either. He benefits greatly from SEC money, and a lot of other ADs we had didn't have this advantage.

- The weekend is always one day too short, especially if you end up working half days on the weekend.

- For Chad...

-Sausage Party yesterday. Came out with 10+ lbs of fresh Italian sausage. Boom. Completely unneccesary but I think I'm going to a commercial grade stuffer. The kitchen aid setup is agonizing. Might keep an eye out for a used one.

-I just think bitching about the AD in most cases is VERY similar to calling for the back up QB. Tired of the convo so I'm not gong to spend anymore time on it. If it makes you feel better to ***** about it, have at it, no doubt our Athletic Department deserves criticism from time to time including now.

-Cleaning up the diet this time of year is just impossible. Cold weather makes me crave food, early sunset, holidays, travel, year end meetings.

-UNC is a different team with Paige. Going to be a tough out.

-NCAAT could be a year where the big boys are done early. All of the teams have big flaws. I'm also not giving up on our seeding. I'd think every team is going to have at least 3-5 loses.

-Adrian's comment seemed kind of harsh. No need to drag me into that. I was just a dude on a shopping trip to Kohl's.

-40 bowls. Counted 13 that I would stop to watch. Maybe half that qualifying as "appointment viewing". And [laughing] at one of the bowl games featuring two Mountain West teams playing each other.

-Didn't realize Groupon was still a thing.

-Decorated the outside of the house for the first time in 16 years of marriage. Was out all afternoon, so wife did it herself. Pleased with the outcome. My only criteria was that any tree be lit up to the top. Always annoying to see a tree in someone's yard with lights stopping halfway up because they didn't feel like getting on a ladder.

-Kindergartner stabbed to death overnight in Versailles during a home invasion. Went to the school where our church meets each Sunday. Gonna be excruciatingly tough talking to my kids about that one tonight, no doubt they'll hear about it at their school today.

the coaching searches & hires by Mizzou & South Carolina ought to give UK fans some pause about who we are and what we expect. Missouri has a strong winning tradition & now an SEC program, best they could do is promoting their DC who was on nobodies list as a future head coach. USCjr hires Muschamp who was a dumpster fire not only at Florida but also this past season at Auburn.

Stoops has not been good here, but at this point I doubt we could do any better than what those other 2 SECE schools had to settle with after both were told "no" about a half dozen times. Hope & pray the man grows into his job is where we are at entering year 4, cause he aint leaving before the end of year 5.

The awfulness of Stoops contract has been detailed fantastically here, but the point of doing it didn't even accomplish what Mitch was afraid of - no buyout IF Stoops blew up & was a candidate for Michigan or wherever. So it would cost us a medical building to fire him, but he could have and still can walk free & clear to a better job without owing UK one thin dime. Which of our former AD's do we want running this place hopefully soon, Strickland, Byrne? Arent there like 3 or 4 former UK assistant AD's running power 5 schools now?

sausage party lol isnt that every day in gyero lol

Actually the medical building is costing about 650 million(and a whole different issue if you really want to ***** to UK about something) but I agree with the rest of the post.

Monday Shorts:

- Glad CFB isn't always like that, but really enjoyed that slobberknocker Saturday night. Wouldn't shock me if Michigan State won it all.

- Which former UC coach would you prefer- Brian Kelly or Mark Dantonio? You can also throw Butch Jones in there if you want a third.

- Watched Christmas Vacation last night. Beverly D'Angelo has always done it for me.

- Christmas Ale season- what's the best? I'll go Southern Tier then Bell's with Great Lakes running a close third.

- Saw "The Night Before" and I loved it. There was one scene that literally had me crying. Gordon-Levitt and Rogen rarely let me down.

- Muschamp lol. Cock Nation must be fit to be tied right now.

- Time to start getting **** right on the hardwood- Murray, especially.

I'll give you South Carolina. That's a complete head scratcher. However, Missouri is in a very unique spot. Their long-time, successful head football coach resigns voluntarily citing health concerns. He is very much on good terms with the athletic department and probably wants to still play some sort of role. In addition to that, the Missouri players actually 'went on strike' during the season making for a weird atmosphere around the program. Promoting from within made sense if you wanted to keep Pinkel happy, not look like an ******* by passing on the guy the cancer stricken beloved former coach no doubt supported and recommended, and placate the players by promoting a guy that they all apparently loved. There's a YouTube video out there of the team going nuts over the hiring.
