Stoops did UK a real solid by letting them break $38M into 6 payments.
Certainly glad he did, but the whole defiant "Zero percent chance. ZERO! Did you hear me -ZERO! MEANS ZERO, DAMMIT" somehow changed in a mere 8 hours.
Thankfully.

Ouch
Stoops making $1 million more than Stein per year and doesn't have to get out of bed. Pretty damn solid work.
While most of the shopping for Christmas I do online, I enjoy pretending to go shop, then proceed to a long lunch at a local watering hole. Little pleasures.
Does anyone else find it weird that this was just released a couple hours ago on the CBS College Basketball YouTube channel? It is a preseason puff piece. Really odd timing, unless I am missing something.
That makes sense, but Kentucky still overpaid every other team this past season, correct? Like we missed on Wilkerson bc we got outbid - how did that happen if we have the most money? Is mark pope and his staff just really bad at allocating money? Is this just a completely separate issue? My understanding in general terms is that if 5/3 Bank wanted to offer an NIL deal they can’t because Central Bank is an official JMI sponsor. I don’t keep up with KSR much anymore but I feel like this was an issue with KSBar and autograph signings in season, those had to stop because Malones/Drakes is the official restaurant of UK Athletics.
The implication is that no other school has a limited pool of sponsors that have signed a deal with a 3rd party.
I'm not an expert and this could be somewhat wrong, but close enough for message board purposes. That makes sense, but Kentucky still overpaid every other team this past season, correct?
