And he is Disqualified for the second straight game. That’s a very worrying thing for balance of the season. Seemingly he is in foul trouble game after game.

You’re not wrong but without looking at any numbers/data I thought we played better without him. If I’m wrong awesome! If I’m right that needs to be corrected immediately

Team fell apart when ge got hurt
Had a 7 point lead
He got exposed and beat a few times on D that was surprising to me

I know I’m going to be in the minority here, but I don’t want Budd holding back for fear of foul trouble. We have other guards who can play a few extra mins if need be. Budd’s on ball defense is a huge reason why we wear teams down. I’ll live with the foul trouble.

Budd was actually hurt. He was not moving as fluid as usual. The fouls in this game for Budd aren’t to be looked at in the same light
That was definitely a factor, but I noticed that Butler’s guards made a concerted effort to use their size against Budd to get buckets in the lane or draw fouls against him or our front court.

That was most concerning to me.

He's getting a reputation too. Lots of rep calls.

He needs to be on the court, but we just can't shoot.

You can’t have your PG in foul trouble in game after game. It’s no recipe for a post season appearance

the let him get in the paint because they know he won't even shoot. he can't. great pull up, but the size is an easy thing to scheme against for opponents.

Yeah that’s not new, but Budd was a step behind them on every drive as a result of not being able to move anywhere near his usual

Why does he refuse to shoot 3’s. What happened there? He wasn’t great, but he wasn’t terrible either. It’s deliberate now, he’s getting multiple wide open looks and hesitating then passing or driving.
He's 24% for the year and 23% for his career on threes.

Does that sound like a guy that should be shooting more of them?

Thought being banged up was his issue today. He wasn't in foul trouble for most of the game. Has to stay from that one clumsy foul he gets once a game.

He played exactly the same he does in every game. Banged up or not. Stop the excuses. He’s disappointed overall. Solid yes, good in certain aspects yes, disappointing yes
