I’ll go Sunday, but only to see Paul for the last time…

Don’t want him back. Not even as a coach. Biggest choker ever. Turnovers, Airballs, dribbles too much. Just go away.

And I was a huge Paul supporter
He needs to go, we need to get a legit PG from the portal. I said it last week and people didnt like it, a bunch of people need to go and be replaced with better talent.

Alright take it easy.
Paul is 22 years old and has already graduated Rutgers. The only reason he is still at Rutgers is to play basketball so he is 100% open to criticism in the age of NIL. He seems like a good kid and anyone attacking him personally is wrong but he is a cancer to the team at this point and it is mutually beneficial for him and Rutgers to both move on after this year. Paul is much better suited to play at Monmouth or St. Peters for his last year

What happened to the version of Paul that dominated games earlier in the season?

Paul isn't going to Monmouth or St. Peter's to play a final eligibility year after 4 years leading Rutgers rebuild, a current captain, 3 NCAA appearances, etc. I agree he has not played well since basically Michigan State but the comments about him in here are brutal. Hope he doesn't look at board. We need him to find the old Paul on Sunday. He's done it before. Basically carried us to NCAAs last year with his stud performances against 4 ranked teams in a row.

Question is does he WANT to be the alpha this team needs like when he was a stud vs those ranked teams? Right now I don't think he does. The team needs a Batman, not a Robin.

This needs to be Derek Simpson's team next year with freshman Davis thrown in. Paul is holding us back and costing us games.

Bad take on Paul. He is struggling big time but bleeds Scarlet.

Pike is too loyal to his guys and Derek needs to play more. Derek creates more; is quicker and can break presses etc.

Paul's minutes need to be reduced.

Paul is a classy kid; his family is first class but Paul may need a change of scenery for next year if he decides to return to play ball.

Will be interesting to see what Paul elects to do. He's in a difficult spot. Not sure he wants to back up Derek. I also don't see him playing a 5th year as a 2nd year grad student for some other team.

McConnell is just as much to blame losing this game as Paul.
Caleb is a warrior but his lack of clutch free throw shooting at end of games is very frustrating.

I would not even come close to blame Caleb for the loss however as the 2 sequences that cost the game for us were the:

- Panic Mode plays of Hyatt and Paul on that 1 sequence
- Lack of defense on final sequence / and throughout game.

Without Paul we don’t have the success we did the past 3 years. It’s just utterly bizarre that by far his worst career performance is happening during the second half of his senior year on an NCAA caliber team.

Caleb makes an excellent game winning pass to Hyatt while doubled and trapped in the corner
